  • i just know you are joking ..they are great aYOU dont know what your missing --listen to all -may take you a couple weeks but well worth it

  • ARE THE BEATLES NEWS?

  • groovy

  • They must have really been into the song. They either didn't notice or didn't care that the Kool-Aid Man showed up around 1:40.

  • Groovy demo!

  • it sounds like The Beatles are at the general store around the1930s fooling around.

  • @georgelee43211 While The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band were influenced by the Beatles. It's quite obvious the Beatles would not be emulating old 78 era recordings without the Bonzo's impact for the White Album.

  • @strangeones4 Oh yeh, I know about The Bonzo Dog Band and but whenever I hear this demo version I think of four guys fooling around a Depression-era General Store around the south[U.S.A] on the White Album version, the song reminds me of ''Bonnie & Clyde.[1967 movie]

  • Thats a DEMO? Wanna see any modern RELEASES matching this...

  • "Your Mother Should Know" is a great song! great melody, like most of the Beatles songs!

  • Well, Honey Pie ranks pretty high, but i think the worst song song had to be either Your Mother Should Know or Long Long Long.

  • amateurs

  • macton2000,are you kidding?Have you been been living in a cave all your life(including your conception)?Or and have you been on gnihtemos/something?

  • This ain't The Beatles.This is from I reckon,the 1930s.

  • I know I'm going to get a lot of crap, but IMHO this is one of the worst 2 Beatles songs ever recorded. I just can't stand it. This and Ask Me Why are as bad as they got. Maxwell's Silver Hammer isn't too far behind. I know Rev #9 ranks for most and I understand, but Lennon wanted to put something out that was outrageous. It wasn't supposed to be "good." Votes for worst Beatles LP, anyone? How about worst 3 songs? For me, Beatles For Sale, and add Mr. Moonlight or Bad Boy as a 3rd worst song.

  • @Toodlem what about martha my dear or revolution 9

  • @residentevlidead Martha I can live with - sort of. And Rev#9 I don't take as an honest attempt at a "song." I hear you, but for me the ones that would rank as supremely lame are the ones I mentioned + Don't Pass Me By, Goodnight, Obladi, You Like Me Too Much, BJ Way, Love You To, & What Goes On. Never cared for Good Morning, Rich Man, and a few others, but they're a cut above their worst. Strangely enough, fav LP is the White Album and I think side 1 is way better than side 2 of Abbey Road.

  • @Toodlem Must disagree, there is nothiong better than side 3 of Abbey Road

  • @FAB1956 To each his own. There are plenty of people who really like it. I don't hate it, but side 1 works better for me. Side 2 sounds like a bunch of tunes sewn together that really have nothing in common - like they were getting rid of their excess baggage.

  • @FAB1956 Obviously I meant to say Side 2 (typo). Its the way they are sewn together & the musicianship on the album to my mind is their best. I regard the White album as more bitty, lots of little throw away tunes and semi-tunes, with each of the writers going in their own directions- oblivious to the others. Thats not a criticism though, I think its one of the beauties of the album. I disagree with Geo Martin who said there was a single fine album there. Its a great double but I prefer AbbeyRd

  • This...in many ways ,...is better than than the album...

  • OH MY GOSH, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS.

  • I love this song. And by the way both, John and Paul are great anyway!

  • these tunes make the white album in some ways,,,,,,

    weirder the better

  • It was songs like this and Maxwell's Silver Hammer that drove John crazy, he hated them/.

  • he didn't have the sentimentality nor jazz/music hall background that Paul did. he couldn't appreciate it for what it was.

"i would never even dream of writing a song like that."

    -John Lennon

  • AMEN

Paul's songs were so great. Old jazzy style. I love that, LOVE it. those 7th, 13th, and 9th chords are a blessing to music. They're melodical, all of Pauls tunes.

  • @switcherx hahahahahahaaaa I can hear John now :)

  • Is that one of George´s Houses ????

Is he painting it ? XD

  • I've never heard of these guys. They're pretty good. What else did they sing?

  • ...umm...they sang All You Need is Love, Strawberry Fields Forever, Twist And Shout (cover), Yesterday, Here Comes the Sun, Something, Come Together, Ticket to Ride, Let It Be, Hey Jude, the Long And Winding Road, Get Back, With A Little Help From My Friends...an hundreds of other great songs. You should really get into them (and you know that this is just a demo, right?).

  • Somebody doesn't understand sarcasm..
