@CoOlTy3000 Yes you can use Maschine as an Vst or Rtas like the rest of Native Instruments Software but Propellerhead doesn't take Vst's. But Rtas I don't know if it can or can't.

Don't buy this from this piece of crap company. I bought one off ebay from Seller djdeals_inc and he told me that there was no difference between the educational version and the regular. I sold it on craigslist after I decided I didn't like it. The new buyer was not able to register it because YOU CANNOT TRANSFER THE LICENCE. So now I'm supposed to be stuck with it. The ebay seller was a dick for misleading me and taunted me through e-mail. Native instruments was uncooperative and didn't help!

The seller was a NI vendor. I talked to NI and they will NOT work with you. I'm just warning you guys to be aware, if you buy an EDU version of Maschine, you will NEVER be able to get rid of it. License is NON-TRANSFERABLE. IT will be with you to the day that you die or decide to through it away! What type of hardware product is that!!!!!

i still wish that my maschine worked stand alone as well. that it had the sounds internally, you could work with maschine alone and could then handshake when you connect it back to a laptop. best of both worlds... *ah, to dream*
