D'awwww, Panda is an adorable bunny! I love his fur pattern, he looks like an oreo sundae! I on't ever wanna eat a bunny though, they're just too gosh darn adorable.
@buttercupowner11 its best to give bunnies alfalfa hay in the beginning (for the first 8 months or so) and then switch to timothy hay when they get a little older but it wont hurt to feed timothy hay right off the bat :)
ok please tell me something, in one month or two, im getting two mini lop bunnies. can you tell what gender is the best to have? an what food it's the best for them
@rollercoaster8881 The best you could get is a neutered male and a spayed female, they make really good companions and I never had any problems with mine. 2 females also go good together but 2 males may fight and injure one another. Feed them pellets and hay until they are about 8 months old, after this time you could give fruit and veggies. Make sure they always have fresh water in a water bottle not in a bowl since this could easily be tipped over. Do tell me if you have any more questions!
@rollercoaster8881 personally, I think male rabbits tend to be more friendly than female rabbits, but if you get them both neutered gender doesnt make a big difference. If you plan to get two of the same gender, neuter and make sure they come from the same litter because this will lessen the chance of fighting. You can buy rabbit food from your local pet store and feed alfalfa hay when they are young and timothy when they are about 6 months. At that point you can also start feeding fruit/veggies!

Im so jealous of your porch! My mini lop, Hollie, isnt able to get as much exercise as i would like. She runs around in my room and my bathroom, but I really wish she could enjoy the outdoors...
Hey, I'm trying to convince my parents to let me get a bunny. Is a mini lop a good starter bunny? I researched a lot and read that they can be aggressive. Is that true?
@1churchill2 Panda has been a wonderful rabbit, and a little easier to take care of than the netherland dwarf that I owned... however he is a little nippy and does not like being held. But keep in mind, all rabbits will differ in personality. Neutering can help keep them friendly. please visit:
rabbit haven . org /is-a-rabbit-right-for-me/
rabbits are much harder to care for than people think, so it is important to do your research before getting one, and consider adoption Thanks for watching!
@pkpb97 I really want a black and white mini lop and i want to name him orca. :) haha. but, unfourtunatly i'm not allowed to get one. my parents think they're dirty rodents.. :/ I even spent 3 weeks researching them!!
I spoke with you when i got my mini lop about a month ago. He died unfortuanetly I was told not to feed them carrots until they are a year old. That may have kileled him. I get so many different opinions on the rabbit diet its making me nuts, but i got a new mini lop today and hes gonna eat hay and pellets until he a year old. I may give him soemthing els then but I'm scared now.
@Kyles45Angel I'm so sorry to hear about Oreo :( Sadly, it is so hard to tell when a rabbit is sick because they hide all signs of illnesses. A good age to start introducing fruits and veggies is about 8 months (however if you feel safer waiting a year, thats fine too). Maybe try cutting the carrots and fruits in the beginning, to minimize the chance of choking. I wouldnt be too scared, they are made to eat fruits and veggies and should be fine if you feed them in small amounts :) Good luck!
@Kyles45Angel Trust me, there is nothing more conflicting than what so called experts say you are to feed your rabbits. If you are unsure about anything, but they have tried it before, then it is safe just to give them a small amount. My rabbits have never had a problem with their diets and I give them food that some say you shouldn't. Just introduce slowly and work from there. You will get to know your rabbits. BALANCE IS IMPORTANT.
@BowieQueenSnape I have tried to give him a little bit of veggies, so far he is not interested at all. He eats hay and pellets and seems to be thriving this way. I may introduce him again at another time.
I talked to you about a month ago. My mini lop was the same color as yours. Unfortuanetly he isn't with us anymore ;(. We arent sure what killed him, but hope in the future to get another one. I enjoy watching your bunny he reminds me of Oreo.
Your bunny is absolutely adorable! We're getting a a black and white butterfly doe in a weeks time to bond with our current bunny and I hope she's as lovely as Panda ^^
YES IT WILL! Never, ever leave your rabbit outside alone unless it is in a secure cage, and even then it is much safer to keep it inside. Your bunny will be much happier that way, but feel free to get it a rabbit harness so you can take it outside safely :)
you should probably keep them separate until the babies are born, and until the babies are big enough to take care of them selves. The one that is NOT the mother could try and kill them when they are small, so be careful.
i lov your rabbit, and the name panda so cute! =)
