    Yes it'shome made, Lathe and milling machine in my workshop.

    I used the Liebherr product ref for the LTR as a guide. Just used a bit of licence in the details.

    Quite a few porblems to over come with the way the telescoping operates.

  • Can you how its extending and what you are doing by hand while this is going on, i am trying to sort out an extension boom for a project and this looks like the key

    Screws are was to 'pin' each section to the next section to be extended.

    Telescoping is by small electric motor and ball screw.

  • Great to hear you want to build a crane. Will it be a Liebherr??? The boom I had made by a local engineering firm, it's two folded 'U' sections welded together for each boom section.
