its junk. im in electronics for my lab.. yeah they help for what maybe a second but their just overal junk. invest in better alt or a better battery..
its easy for it to hold 13volts when the engine is off cause the fucking capacitors have energy stored in them and when you shut the car off then theirs no draw on the battery so it slowly drops as the battery soaks most of the energy up and the tiny tiny tiny amount is drawn in by the cars electronics
I have tested this "flashing box"...it's only multivibrator with LED an condenser on 4700 microfarad inside. It's really does not work! Look at the graphics at the end of the video - they displays that the stabilizer does not work! The electronic circuit board is soldered poorly. I dont reccomend to install this device in your car. It is really flammable due to possibility of short-circuit.
Well, as I see, this one has only one lonely and 4700uf 25V capacitor inside. While you take open the other ones on market, they have at least 4 similar capacitors and the Voltaggio, as i check form their site and picx has two 2200uF and ten 1000uf making altogether 14 400uf. I dont know how much difference this would make in real world, but when you at least open the c-west, it looks pretty sad compared to the other ones on market.
this is verry similar to mine, D1™ Spec Racing Stage 3 Performance Stabilizer, and it work for a 20y ae92 corolla, the car idle,hl bright, audio improve.
Great Video and test, what this does not show is how the voltage stabilizer protects your car from current spikes (flow of electrons) up and down during RPM changes. There is a reason you purchase a quality power strip to protect your PC or home electronics, we all know the effect of a voltage spikes at home, now think of your car. A car battery does protect, but your battery is designed based on original design, once you install new electronics you need to upgrade your capacitance.
@11lik You will notice it more in the smoothness of your electronics' powering on/off. It's more of a "make sure everything is working right", rather than an "additional thing". However,, that doesn't mean it's not giving you a little more oomph.
first : I thank you for the explanation it's very clear , there is gap between the sound and the picture if you can fix it , you will make the video more clear for everybody , thanks again for your time : )
yeah.. its a good video cause I put one of these on my car today and had been looking for a test video for it. thanks.... though there is a delay in the audio and video it still helps

@kongstariderz no, ground wires are helpful if your car has bad factory grounds, or you have some major sound system; but this item can be thought of as a "stand alone" unit.
I see that it does a slight difference in keeping the voltage from alternating but it also decreases the voltage overall, which is not good. I wonder if this is because this little thing requires a tad of voltage draw anyhow sine it does have to get power in the 1st place which is why the system reads a overall lower voltage. DO YOU REALLY THINK IT HELPED WITH DIMMING?
Well, I can tell you this: I have a universal shift-light that monitors electric draw to "know" when to light up (might hardwire a real tach if I get time later), if I have the car running and then plug in my cell phone, the shift-light lights up and stays on until I disconnect the phone, but now with two V-stabilizers under the hood, the car seems to figure it out and adjusts to the cell phone being plugged in and the shift-light goes back to working normally.
I am confused. The chart showing the different numbers of when it is on and off does not make sense to me. With the stabilizer is on, the voltage reads lower. That is defeating the whole point!
Well, this is a stabilizer, so the fact it's keeping the voltage from varying as much probably means it's doing what it suppose to. I guess this isn't ment to be a booster as much as it is to keep you at a certain voltage even with increased/decreased load.
Well, I actually bought another one of these and took a look inside. I wrote down the capacitor specs on my other phone, and I'll post it in the vid discription place soon. As for the 1 farad cap, maybe, but there does seem to be a circuit board in these units; so maybe that makes them a tad better than just a jumbo capacitor?
LoL, I did at my installing date at the shop, we cracked it open to see what's so great about it, We found a simple LED bulb and that was pretty much about, we found another little connectors but not sure if they even do anything, I have one installed of course to see how it but I have a grounding kit so couldn't tell if it even did anything. I would not get one. Save your money and get the other ones that are 98%, these are only 82%.
Thanks for posting this vid..I have one myself and wondered if it was really working..haha..with that music playing 2 min and 54 sec. it was like the moment of truth..haha..Im happy that it isnt a scam product. Plus C-West is a trustworthy name brand..they also make bodykits and other parts. Thanks again for the video.
useless waste of money.

@madison1828 Thanx for your input. I have the Optima SpiralCell battery, which I agree would be a better-buy than this gizmo.

Electronic specs off the main capacitor = 4700uf 25V
what that means ? from other video pivot has 7200mf and adhoc has 14400mf ??
can i use a plain capacitor doing the same work ?
thanks.

invest in a new alternator hoss, should be running 14volts as soon as the car starts up

Nice review but better results with audio mods. Stock or middle performance mods, useless, better adding torque, hp or grip in other piece

AndrewChan84 1 year ago
@AndrewChan84 Like $20 to the door.
HalfBreedMix 1 year ago
@HalfBreedMix That's very cheap, must be using the normal 4,700 uF 25V caps, like most cheap voltage stabilizers.

Buy and hack open this one: Adhoc Voltaggio Voltage Stabilizer
You'll be surprise that this is one VS that doesnt short change you by giving cheap caps and LED lights inside that.

@farhad1124 It is working farhad, just don't expect your car to become super-fast-racer-machine because of it though ;-)
