@PD19954 Any engine can handle hp, the 2jz is no big deal or special engine, its just an inline 6banger, just like the cumins is, what helps give it the power is forced induction, something that any engine can have. I would rather have a big block or a hemi with forced induction then a 6 banger with forced induction.The more cubic inches the more forced air you can get into the cyl the more power.

@hoodyman88 yes i agree the GTR is one crazy machine.BUT the Z06 has something to offer that the GTR will never have to offer. that is a LS7 7.0L v8 engine. that with a few mods can have 100HP over stock while saying N/A, and sounding crazy. and every tuner knows that a N/A engine will always last longer,over a forced inducted engine at high boost. and the only way you will get 100HP out of a GTR is turn up the boost with other mods. i would much rather mod a Ls7 block over some new jap engine.

@PD19954 Any engine can handle hp, the 2jz is no big deal or special engine, its just an inline 6banger, just like the cumins is, what helps give it the power is forced induction, something that any engine can have. I would rather have a big block or a hemi with forced induction then a 6 banger with forced induction.The more cubic inches the more forced air you can get into the cyl the more power.

I'm a fan of domestic muscle cars, BUT I have both. I have a 65 Mustang 2+2 Fastback and a BMW 325is. Both are plenty of fun, just in different ways.

Did you know? Muscle car guys were modding cars (tuners) before any of us were born (unless there's a 80 year old youtuber) Muscle cars will outdrag imported cars, European or not. Japanese cars and European cars handle better, doing circuit racing (Yes I know about the zr1, acr, etc.) Most of the people here are just idiots who learned 50% of all their car know-how from Need for Speed. Don't be biased against Muscle. But musclecars are ugly and heavy and handle bad. Not good for their time now

Coming home from war to family, your girl, your car is priceless. A drive in movie, girls on roller skates, come on. Jap cars in those days (280Z) were crap. Buy STI, RX7 ok? There’s a fine line between. Supra is bad, Z06 or KenneBell Cobra is all American and goes hard.

@zj114s lol heavy car? what muscle cars are you talking about, hell I own an STI and a 68 hemi charger, the sti is 3300 the charger is 3600. uhmm wow big difference. The muscle car is also running on 10-1 compression and just a carb, the import is running a turbo with tons of boost. And in their time the T/A challenger and the cuda did very well on the road course. hell go to 68 charger vs lambo and see how close it is.
