wow what is wrong with people half of the actors in this list died of murder and car crashes and the killers are still out on the street and never did any jail time wheres the justise system when you need it
Apparently, Heather O Rourke died because she had an intestinal blockage that ruptured causing peritonitis. I had the same thing a few years ago...except I got to the hospital in time and had emergency surgery! i was freaked later when I found out that it has a 37% death rate- usually if you don't get to the hospital in time.
@imajeepster Yeah, they misdiagnosed her and had her on meds that did nothing except make her face puff up (as seen in Poltergeist III). By the time they figured it out, it was too late.
yeah, i get the feeling her parents weren't too swift. I was in so much pain after just a few hours I had to get to the ER. However, the problem had been there for a while, it just hadn't bothered me. I was lucky. All I got out of it was a big scar.
@imajeepster Her parents trusted the doctors. Was your condition congenital? Hers was. From what I've read, all they had to do was remove the affected portion of the intestine and she'd likely still be with us today. But the doctors failed. Heather's parents sued and the case was settled out of court, by the way.
Heather died in 1988. Maybe it was in part because of her that you were correctly diagnosed, you know? If your symptoms mirrored hers...
The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office came to a different conclusion, that:
“Miss (Dorothy) Dandridge died of a rare embolism—blockage of the blood passages at the lungs and brain by tiny pieces of fat flaking off from bone marrow in a fractured right foot she sustained in a Hollywood film five days before she died.”
RIP Judith I hope you are at a happy place now Little Judith i still cant believe ur gone .its too much.but thats how Life is . this world is pretty sick. but u didnt deserve to die Judith . We Will al miss you and U Will never be forgotten . 1 Day we Meet Judith i Hope. RIP Judith I MISS YOU !!!!! and the rest in this vid RIP ALSO
More importantly, Audie Murphy was the most decorated soldier in WW-2, and was awarded the Medal of Honor for bravery and sacrifice on the battlefield. An actor yes, but a soldier first.
Very nice tribute. I'll have to look up three of those younger stars I never heard of. MY question is out of all the beautiful and some very simple gravesites, only Heather O'Rourke's seems a bit crass. Did her parents have to list her film credits on it?! Maybe if you didn't know who she was without "Carol Ann in Poltergeist 1,2,3 when you walk by her gravesite she'd be okay with it. VERY TACKY.....
Its interesting because some graves is very simple and others are so glamours, full of flowers and arts or anything else... But is sad to see greats celebrities with simple graves.. They need something betters... they families to be constroy something more special or better than a simple stone on the grass!!
Thank you so much for this beautiful video. My husband and I have been to Forest Lawn Cemetery (Hollywood Hills) and Holy Cross Cemetery but I would like to visit Westwood Cemetery soon.
We visited the cemeteries you mentioned while on holiday in the USA from Australia. Westwaood cemetery is incredible. Marilyn, Dean Martin, Truman Capote, Natalie Wood, Jim Backus and Buddy Rich are just a few of the many celebs there. If you can, visit Hillside Memorial as well. Jolson, Vic Morrow and Michael Landon are all there, among many others.
Graham: Heather O'Rourke is buried at Westwood Cemetery in Los Angeles. This cemetery is legendary for being the final resting place of some of the greatest names in entertainment. At this cemetery it's very common to have such inscriptions on their plaques of what films they starred in, or a line that was made famous by them. You might as well call all of Hollywood crass then.
memoryman,,such class and respect you capture with your videos. thank you so much ..

@imajeepster no mine was caused by scar tissue from an old surgery i'd had years earlier, just minor routine surgery.
