I agree that Brett did so much good for us. I just think that the ins and outs and playing for the rivals is too much. If he were on a team like the Jets, Raiders, Saints, ect, I'd be fine with it. But the Bears and Vikings are the teams hes been the rival of for 16 years. I just think that he could've found a team with a similar offense to the Packers other than the Vikings with better wide recievers.

Dude, I'm as big a Packer fan as they come. Ted Thompson is NOT innocent you know. All he had to do was let Favre play. But no, he had to pressure Favre out of Green Bay to let HIS draft pick Aaron Rodgers play. I like Rodgers, but he's no legend. Who cares where he plays, he could have been in Green Bay still, but Management forced an early decision. Blame Ted Thompson, Mark Murphy, and Mike McCarthy.. not Brett Favre. All he wants to do is play. BTW.. Chicago is Green Bay's Arch Rival.

It was all started by Favre. All he needed to do is say that he needed more time to decide whether to stay or retire. By the way, I think they made the right choice in letting Favre go, Rodgers was incredible last year.

Dude, you sound like you are mad just cause hes on the vikings. Hes the best QB ever and hes earned the right. I there was no interest him, he wouldnt come back. You want him to reject a huge contract for pennies to prove hes not in for money? They offered it to him and the fact that you think it would be fine if he played for other teams just shows your mad hes playing for the vikings. And look up CRISTIANO RONALDO

wrong, i follow manchester united day and night. he had said several times that it would be his dream to leave and all this crap and Real Madrid was Manchesters arch rivals. Plus he could have rejected their contract cause they actually only bought the rights to negotiate from MANU. Point is even though hes with our arch rivals, i am not HATING on him and wishing him bad luck. shit happens

as for "shitty start "in preseason none less,its gonna take time like it always does .. once he gets down the movements of the new wr's favre will be good to go, once again,its preseason

MJ retired in 1993 because his father was murdered and he just finished winning his 3rd straight NBA championship. He played baseball in 1994 and 1995.
The NBA lockout was in 1998-99.

And I think it is more respectable that favre came back after 2 months cause it shows that he still has love for football and his retirement could have been because of indecisiveness but MJ came back after 2 years and playing ANOTHER sports whenbball fans loved him. How can you say his return was more justified. He probably did it for the money cause he was way too old
