It's a nice thought, but when I go out into the "real world", it's hard to "imagine" it could ever really happen! The human race just seems to be descending deeper & deeper into madness, degeneracy, and utter self absorption...(with no end in sight, as far as I can see) Those with any kind of "higher ideals" remain a minuscule minority - values and ideals are routinely trampled under the never ending stampede of the largely unenlightened masses. (& our leaders seem to want to keep it that way)

Yes, once you know the truth, you can't "un-know" it! A problem I've encountered, many times, in my life. It can become a problem, due to the fact that the truth is often "inconvenient", it doesn't necessarily glean you any popularity, and it may not increase your chances of material success! (especially in a world where lies and falsehoods are the order of the day!)

actually my mind has understood art since i was a toddler..i have had to teach my body to express that vision, which is the hard thing..i have been drawing since i was three..and sculpting ever since my mother gave me clay..what would i be like if i was tought to draw, or to make art? i am self tought, so i adapted, not evolved my mind..i already had the understanding of art, i just progressed in my skill..
lol..good call there..it is said that my father was an artist, yet i have never met him..so in a sense, ansestors is a correct response..i hope to meet him one day..he doesnt know i exist..so it will be hard to find him..so for now, god is the only father i have..and on the part of blending tech and my art..mmm, no..i look back at old art and nothing touches that, i wish to be remembered as a new age old school artist..i have started an emotionism movemnet, and hopes it takes off..
Really, I think hatred & death have always been here. & maybe, sometimes, religion has helped to alleviate some of that. After all, where would we be, if no one ever said: "Thou shalt not kill"? But religion has also been hijacked and misused by many people. I do believe there's a Heaven & Hell, but you don't have to die, to see them. You can see them, any time, right here on earth. So it can be a valid concept, just depends how you interpret it. Hope John's in some kind of Heaven now...
i understand what you are saying..i just look at the wars that have and still are caused by religious differences, that if there were no religion, just an understanding and respect for a one true creator, that all races share, then maybe, there could be peace..i feel that is what lennon was getting at with this song..it was during the vietnam war, that this song took root..

I agree that the truth has been corrupted by man, but enough remained as a guide to develop your self spiritually.
At present we are on a threshold of evolution. Do we abandon our spiritual self for the material (technology) or do we do both?
One offers quick reward the other takes time and sacrifice.
One offers infinite life, the other has an eventual end.
God is our guide towards positive evolution. If we abandon God our future is limited.

Your mind understood art as a toddler probably because art (per say) is in your blood (or genes).
Some of that a 'gift' but some also most likely passed down from ancestors.
I've my own gifts, and others their own, and we all owe that to who came before us and to God for having inspired it in us.
Our new faciantion with technology threatens to discard these gifts as we depend more and more on machines.
I suggest a blend of the two but I'd rather discard them than discard my mind.
