If you use C4D you could try to do the FRINGE text like the original, I'm trying, just some problems with the fractures (using 3ds)...

You said it was done very quickly before class, try to remake and show us your progress, that's a cool thing to do if you have some free time :D

@TheFlippertg Oh yeah I have gotten much better. Creating this in Cinema 4D would def yield better results. In 3Ds Max you can use Rayfire. In C4D you can do this with a fracture script - plenty floating around the web. Then you let mograph do it's thing. If I have time I might do something. :)

@radclaw1 Yep 30min before class. All it is, is images in 3D with a Camera tied to a null being pulled back. Its not good, but it is from a class years ago. Now I work on motion graphics for studios. Just wanted to show that everyone starts somewhere you now?

@radclaw1 Ah , this was done in after effects, it render pretty fast. thats how I did it in 30 min. 3D software renders much slower. Sure why not . Im a Cinema 4D user I have tried 3D max but it was sort of Meh for me.

hey for 30 minutes its not bad, good job! but don't get lazy and make a better one that can consume about more than a week, It takes me around 2 and 1/2 weeks using premiere pro and After Effects CS5 to master/perfect videos

Oh yes, naw.. i no way do i think it lives up to the original, they used 3d max... had a couple of days and of course Andrew Kramer from VCP did it.. I on the other hand did this all in AE 30 min before it was due :)

Its cool, i like how you've done it completley in AE, however i would of had everything you have in the video (particles,hand etc and push them all back in 3D Z space so you can make a new camera and push it back 3D space.
