@jackasshole3 refurbished is a phone that has been previously used but has been restored to normal settings. Their supposed to be just like a brand new one, but cheaper.

@lilbigbrow I think they might mean that its locked to the phone company, like you can't use a verizon sim card in an AT&T iphone. But I'm entirely sure if that's what they mean.
