  • FANTASTIC job! Who is this singing?

  • @steele722 I am not positive, but it sounds like Carrie Underwood, but I may be mistaken.

  • Over the land of the free - Make "F" as you go out then you can open your hands but you are signing as "letting go"

    VERY GOOD JOB THO...

    Jeremy,

    Deaf Inter. Student Association CEO

LRA of the Deaf Executive Assistant

National Technical Institute of the Deaf 2010

  • O' the ramparts we watched - Remember your flag placement... in the beginning... you hailed on your left... so "watch" on the left (But if you hailed on the right watch on the right)

Gave proof through the night - Sign "night" with your arm coming up from your other instead of the basic "night"

  • Whose broad stripes and bright stars - Slow down when you're signing "stars" remember this is a patriotic song not hip hop.

Through the perilous fight - You signed "important" and "continuing" this is NOT the appropriate sign in the deaf culture... for "perilous" you can sign either "dangerous" or "terrible". For "fight" bend your thumb and pinkie finger inwards to look like "war" - your sign looks like playing basketball.

  • A few suggestions: (1 of 2)

Oh say can you see - Do not point on "you"

What so proudly we hailed - Sign "we" the other way... (start at the other shoulder), sign hailed on the right instead of left because later in the song you're establishing where the flag is... on your right.

At the twilight's last gleaming - Do not sign "last" (when you sign "gleaming" it's already pointed out that the sun is setting)

  • that is soooooooooooooo awesome!!!! Great job!!!! :D

  • I´ve been working on a project that has involved watching hundreds of versions of the star spangled banner and I must say that your rendition in ASL is one of the most moving I´ve seen. I would like to see you interpret Marvin Gaye´s national anthem. If you ever do let me know.
