@exenrontexas Agreed! Although I"m not a christian and have no desire to be so, I just want to say, that this also directly violates our separation of church and state. @Boudiga It was the Pharisees who used religion to gain power and personal wealth but Jesus had strong criticism for them. He also drove the money changers out of his house, the Temple. It was those groups that he had the strongest criticism for and those groups screamed "CRUCIFY HIM!". I like having Jesus on my side.
@exenrontexas I agree. Unlike most christians I read the whole bible, front to back. I take you have done so to some extent. This is what I don't get w/so many christians theses days. They preach that they believe in the word of the bible, but the VAST majority never read their book. They talk about how the bible is the most purchased book of all time, but its also one of the least read books too. They love their god soo much but can't be bothered to read its word? what kind of devotion is that?
@Boudiga Most people are lazy. Every Christian should participate in a Bible study program when scripture is read and discussed. Jesus said that we should not forsake the company of one another. When groups become isolated it encourages error. So if you are making the case for hypocrisy, I agree. Hypocrisy is what Jesus warned about when he said Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees.
@exenrontexas I went to a catholic bible study once w/ a friend. The priest (who was really nice btw) told everyone they can't read the bible front to back, but piece by piece. Now as nice as he was, he was either directly or indirectly telling theses people that one shouldn't take the bible in its correct context. I think the bible studies are part of the problem. I think people really just need to get a bible, as a book or audio & just read/listen to the whole thing from front to back.
@Boudiga If that works for you, then go for it. I suspect that both are correct. The Bible is so great that the same passage can mean different things to different people and both be right. The Pharisees were deep into legalism. The Bible is inspiration and education. Those who desire power use the Bible to gain more power and that is not the purpose. Those Pharisees try to subvert the word and will of God.
@exenrontexas I just want to say to you, that it is a pleasure to talk to one of the more educated Xians out there. I by no means have an issue with you or even your religion. I disagree of course, but variety is the spice of life. :) I just want to press one thing for I don't want sound like I am repeating, I find I do that sometimes, but the reason why I suggest reading the bible or any book front to back is because I see xians often take quotes and stories from the bible out of context.
@Boudiga Well it is true sometimes that Christians do take the Bible out of context. Sometimes it is just expediant and sometimes it is laziness and others it is to hide the true and entire meaning of the Bible. The Bible, IMHO, is the documentation of the relationship between man and God, from God's point of view. Other useful resources are the works of C.S. Lewis. Let me suggest "Mere Christianity" & (if you are up to it) "the Screwtape Letters". Screwtape is good evidence that Satan exists.
@exenrontexas I"ll check out your pages. However I'm not likely to be a christian. I read the bible. Nice book, some good points, but I believe there a lot of books, stories, personal experiences, etc... that all have meaning. I simply don't restrict myself to one ideal. thank you though. :)
@Boudiga Ok, that's fair enough. But the man who wrote both of those started out as an atheist. He said that God ran him down from behind. He said that the key was his reading of the works of George MacDonald and his experiences in World War I. Lewis had little tolerance for people like Barton.
@exenrontexas Oh I'm sure most educated people couldn't take Barton. He gets his bread and butter for the greedy and the ignorant. I just want to make sure I mention this, I'm not atheist. I'm simply not a christian. Alot of people make the mistake that if i"m not christian, I must be an atheist. I never had a problem with atheist and don't understand why there is an issue with them. There are all kinds of stories of different beliefs in gods that has convinced many a skeptics of the past.
@Boudiga I believe the difference between Christianity and other religions is well covered by C.S. Lewis' "Mere Christianity" IMHO, that is, but you judge for yourself. If you come back with a positive view of Christianity it will not be because of me or even Mr. Lewis but rather because the Holy Spirit led you there. Only he can bring people to salvation in Christ. As far as "having a problem" that is not the issue. We are required to "spread the Word" by the Great Commission.
@exenrontexas In my faith I do not require this salvation. I believe no one has all the right answers. Best to learn for all sources. If I may be so bold to suggest some reading of my own. I recommend the gospel of Judas. I had quite a sour opinion of xianity until read it. Please be aware that the gnostic came from the same set of books that are in the NT, but for whatever reason were not included. I also suggest the scarlet letter. I find fic character Hester Pryin to have an interesting take,
@Boudiga Have read Hawthorne and his works including the Scarlet Letter and I tend to reject his view as I also reject the view of Hermann Melville. They are interesting and creative and worth reading but neither subscribe to the view of a personal God but rather the god of nature or no god at all which expresses some malevalency especially Melville. Melville's Christ figure in Billy Budd has tones of homosexuality and certainly the lack of foreknowledge and purpose that Christ had.
@exenrontexas The way I saw Hester, how she literally stood up against such an oppressive and cruel society inspirational. When she made the A for her punishment, she could have chosen any color, but choose a black background, a gold boarder and bright red thread for the A. She was willing to be their outcast. Much like your jesus who stayed with the beggars, prostitutes, tax collectors, the ones society deemed unfit. And was willing to be an outcast. It is the outcast who challenges society.
@Boudiga I am not eager to argue this with you since it is detail that does not actually reflect what Jesus did. However, Hester's punishment was imposed on her by hypocritical authorities. The society which she lived was a closed society and she could not escape. She had no choice. Jesus was also persecuted by hypocrites but he could have escaped punishment by simply denying who he was. Hester was a sinner, Jesus was perfect who accepted the sins of others so that they could be saved.
@exenrontexas Well I truly hope we aren't arguing. I consider this a rather pleasant conversation. So please forgive me if I sounded as such. You see I don't believe in the concept of sin. There are things that society deems as wrong and much of it I do agree with. However I don't see jesus as a messiah. On the other hand I don't see what Hester did was wrong. I'm against oppression and igmire those who stand up to oppressors. I'm truly sorry for offending you if I did.
@Boudiga I am not offended and I commend you for both your frankness and polite manner. Both are necessary for a productive discussion. I do believe in sin as it is anything that is against God. Truly Hester did wrong if only somewhat wrong but any wrong is worthy of death and always has been. Jesus is the only man who defeated death and sin and he did so willingly by living a perfect life and offering himself as the sacrifice for all others who will only believe in him. Scarlet is fiction.
@Boudiga All sin come from pride. Pride is the first sin and the greatest sin. Pride is the sin of Satan from which all other sins come from. The pride of Satan was what made him challenge the authority of God and what makes him the enemy of all mankind. Some of the worst sinners in the Bible were the Jewish patriarchs such as David &Solomon. But there is hope for mankind and hope's name is Immanuel. Man is saved by faith. Abraham's virtue was that the was faithful & waited on the Lord.
@exenrontexas Hi! I was able to come back! I'm aware of this belief. I read your whole bible. I disagree but to each their own. If this system works for you, I'm not one to take take it away from you. I'm a big fan of to each their own. I understand you are trying to save me from a bad after life, but I don't fear such things. I don't want to offend or upset you. Let us just agree that we disagree. :) I really have enjoy talking to you!
what an idiot. david barton wasn't supporting "regulating homosexuality". he was refering to the over reaching of government. its the idea of a "slippery slope".ed shultz is a lying hack, preying on the ignorance of his small audience.
@OneDjgr8 I agree, it is obvious that is the point barton was trying to make but it is still ridiculous first of all to claim that being gay is less healthy, I don't know what studies he is citeing because this retard never explains his thoughts in that much detail. But homosexuals are protected group because regardless of what retard evangelical christians like Barton think, it isn't a choice. What he is saying is like saying we should tax mexicans because they have unhealthy diets!
Wow what a fucking moron its because of people like him that teach kids that being gay is bad, and in turn the kids pick on gay kids why do you think they're commiting suicide? because people are fucking messing with them for no reason
@starkweather444 nope. I agree that these religious bigots are a big problem...but don't resort to violence. This is a philosophical battle that will be won through words. It takes time but it is worth fighting for.
@starkweather444 hes not wirth going to jail for.. while i wish barton would kill himself and save the planet. saddly it would take someone as nutty as him to pull the trigger
Didn't this fool also have to publish a pamphlet full of lies that he made up in th 80's. I often wonder, what the hell does it take for a right winger to get discredited in this country. There aren't many lefties that can get away with what these Barton and Breitbart's get away with. Liberal media my ass!
No, you Moron!!! Barton does not want to regulate homosexuality. He was making a comparison. If you listen to the entire program he is talking about how liberals want to regulate things that effect our health. So Barton is saying if democrats want to regulate things that make us un-healthy then they should regulate homosexuality because the CDC says it is less healthy. Barton never said homosexuality was unhealthy, he quoted the CDC. When pushing your political agenda when does the truth matter?
Why didn't he play the entire clip? It was obviously taken out of context. He was making the point of freedom of choice. Regulating salt and fast food isn't the job of the government, it is a personal choice of what you eat and shouldn't be regulated just like homosexuality shouldn't be regulated. The left will bend and twist anything to fit their agenda. It's MSNBC people. They are commie liars.
This is very sick from the right winged Americans. The same people who wanted to keep slavery (yes that is in the bible) now states that Homosexuality is wrong. What evil people they are.
@ikinmoore The Modern day version of slavery is not permitted in the Bible, read Exodus 21:16. You have a definition mixup. The word Slavery did not mean the same thing to the hebrews as it did to us. To the hebrews a slave was an indentured servant or someone who willing entered slavery to save themselves from poverty or starvation. Exodus 21:16 outlaws the modern version of slavery, which is slavery by force.
A slave is a slave no matter how you dress it up. No one in their right mind would enter slavery even if it would save them from poverty. The workhouse was feared by the victorians because those who entered it had nothing. The Bible was written by those who knew nothing about our modern society. We have moved on yet there are those who think Homosexualtiy is a sin ! They are just plain evil
@ikinmoore Again you are mixing up the definition of slavery to an ancient people. A slave to them was a butler, a maid,or a servant. People throughout time have entered into those services willingly. Exodus 21:16 outlaws the modern version of forced slavery. You can't force in ancient hebrew word to mean what you want it to mean.
If you believe that then you have no understanding of human nature at all. Tranlation of a Hebrew word can mean anything to the mind of a scholar. Why translated it to Slave rather then servant !!??? Think about it, that must be an error yet all translations put it as slave. Meaning a person that recieves no payment for services ! This is our modern age is WRONG ! A slave who be abused by those he served and Christians follow this teaching...??
@ikinmoore You are hardly making a point. You have yet to comment on Exodus 21:16 & your point seems to be it is still wrong even though the slave agrees to be a slave. Exodus 21:16 outlaws forced slavery. Scholars don't just translate words for the hell of it. The gap between languages is so vastly different that the meanings of words in bound to get lost in translation. Do you know of any Christian that have slaves? Because Christians are bound by the new covenant, not the old broken one.
@MAJ061785 Are you mentally challenged ? i just ask, because you are promoting the Idea that slavery in the bronzeage middle east was a walk in the park.
@ueks69 You are clearly taking what i said out of context and not commenting on the fact that i said Exodus 21:16 outlaws slavery. Yet, the Bible still has rules to protect those who willingly enter slavery, which does not mean the modern interpretations of a slave. The Exodus references to slaves and the rules around slavery are more properly defined as an indentured servant, because someone willingly entering into servitude and was not forced, like the modern interpretation.
@MAJ061785 The evidence for slavery in the middle east region is very well recorded, from the early egyptian and sumerian cultures and onwards to the arabian sheikdooms of the late 19 hundreds.
The bible is full of vile evil evidence of how Gawd lets you mutilate and disrespect humans not of the tribes of Israel.
You championing and defending this superstitius mumbo jumbo, just makes me certain that religion is the scourge of humanity.
@MAJ061785 However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
@ueks69 Sure it does, if you take select verses out of context, instead of taking the whole Bible in context. You are confusing modern definitions with ancient cultures and customs. You must research how ancient cultures functioned. A friend of mine made a video on the this subject and puts this exact verse in context & explains how slavery worked in these ancient cultures. The video title is "Leviticus 25:44 Slaves in the Bible."
@MAJ061785 ancient cultures and customs ;) your arguing that in ancient times the israelites treated their slaves good and fair ;) i call it as it is, slavery is evil, the Old testament promotes it, and even the new testament has nothing against it.
The Fictioness Vile Creator of the old testament was an evil bully, killing left right and center, this reflecting the society his worshippers founded.
You try to explain and justify actions made behalf on a fictioness charecter,it is most laughable
@ueks69 You are still judging slavery by its modern view and not looking at it from a historical view. This was long before democracy and most civilizations were run by kings. So in a sense 99.9% of people were slaves. Modern slavery is evil, which the Bible outlaws, Exodus 21:16. But, this was a different custom and definition. Doctors and lawyers would enter slavery at times to advance their lives. If you are going to read only select verses from the Bible then you will get an evil God.
@ueks69 You haven't commented on the fact that professionals sold themselves into slavery to pay debt & to advance their lives in new cultures. Believe it or not, one of the jobs that slaves had was being a policeman. Slavery in ancient times was the equivalent of getting a job today. Slaves had benefits. The majority population were slaves in most cultures. Slavery is only bad if the master is abusive and the slave is forced into it, the Bible condemns both. Study history and ancient cultures.
@MAJ061785 You really belive the crap your spelling out on the interwebz :) Slavery was slavery. Someone owned you, they had right to everything that was your person...Some house slaves may have had a good life, but they where still slaves, and no you did not enter into slavery willingly....You keep saying this, I want proof, so please show the reference to text, to actual contracts etc etc....
Your bible is vile and evil, you keep defending by being unthuthfull, says more about christianity ;)
This type of Christian is forcing the government to move toward regulating religious practices. There is no other option to remedy this type of oppression.
"regulate" ... yeah we know how the germans "regulated" homosexuals, jews and whomever didn't agree with them... gay teens who commit suicides pretty much always come from a very religous background... this kind of discrimination is the very reason they think about suicide... i mean what to do if god doesn't want you because of the way you were born? it's not a bit better then saying black people are all criminals, or white ones all arrogant...
Wait now I am all for not bullying, and making sure if someone has an opposing opinion that it is expressed without ill-intent; however, if you are going to say that you can't express something is sinful, then that is "regulating" religion. Grant it that it isn't in the context of a fire-and-brimstone sermon meant to encourage prejudice.
"Homosexuals are 7 times more likely to contemplate or commit suicide."
NO KIDDING. YOU EGG THEM ON TO DO IT!
This is the same logic that lead to the construction of Drapetomania (legitimately once-believed concept): the "mental disease" that occurred in slaves drawing them to run away.
America isn't evil, but it certainly has a long history of bigotry.
David Barton is a Dominionist freak, and probably a closet gay! At this time when gays rae commiting suicide, this turd nugget Barton should be shunned! Hes a truly disgusting individual!
The end goal for dominionist Christians, and David Barton is a dominionist, is to wipe out everyone they don't like. The 'kill the gays' law contemplated in Uganda has been put forth by hard core African Dominionists.
The Barton's say nut bag things but they are in fact working toward a theocratic Christian society in America. Damn democracy and the constitution.
It goes way beyond discrimination & bullying. David Barton is openly advocating genocide & a majority of republicans & the religious right support him. That's our American society, Now why are gay suicide rates so high? hmmmmmm........
@shanrodru I don't know about that. latest polls in Nevada show crazy right wing nutbag Sharon Angle pulling ahead of Harry Reid, I'm really worried about these mid terms!
Where did he get his info? The 1980's? And how would one regulate homosexuality? Tell them that they have to relay on side-hugs because touching a person of the same sex is gay? Tell Literotica that they can only post one new gay themed story a year?
What a fucking artard. Being gay doesn't force you to be more likely to commit suicide, it's the way people (Heterosexuals) approach homosexuality that cause those numbers. They're saying it's "evil", "sinful", or "disgusting". They have no fucking idea how (BECAUSE OF THESE PEOPLE) it can be to be gay and have ass hole constantly beating you (Physically and emotionally).
can't they get the idea WHY there are suicide rates?? Because of crap like this being spewed. Children hear this and think "I don't fit in this world, what's the point of me existing?" Terrible generation, the older generation is destroying the world and the younger is gonna carry the weight. Thanks guys, you rock.
Maybe we should regulate people who regularly lie and use the media to spread those lies - like David Barton.

Boudiga 9 months ago
@Boudiga I believe the difference between Christianity and other religions is well covered by C.S. Lewis' "Mere Christianity" IMHO, that is, but you judge for yourself. If you come back with a positive view of Christianity it will not be because of me or even Mr. Lewis but rather because the Holy Spirit led you there. Only he can bring people to salvation in Christ. As far as "having a problem" that is not the issue. We are required to "spread the Word" by the Great Commission.
exenrontexas 9 months ago
@exenrontexas In my faith I do not require this salvation. I believe no one has all the right answers. Best to learn for all sources. If I may be so bold to suggest some reading of my own. I recommend the gospel of Judas. I had quite a sour opinion of xianity until read it. Please be aware that the gnostic came from the same set of books that are in the NT, but for whatever reason were not included. I also suggest the scarlet letter. I find fic character Hester Pryin to have an interesting take,
Boudiga 9 months ago

Boudiga 9 months ago
@Boudiga I am not eager to argue this with you since it is detail that does not actually reflect what Jesus did. However, Hester's punishment was imposed on her by hypocritical authorities. The society which she lived was a closed society and she could not escape. She had no choice. Jesus was also persecuted by hypocrites but he could have escaped punishment by simply denying who he was. Hester was a sinner, Jesus was perfect who accepted the sins of others so that they could be saved.
exenrontexas 9 months ago
@exenrontexas Well I truly hope we aren't arguing. I consider this a rather pleasant conversation. So please forgive me if I sounded as such. You see I don't believe in the concept of sin. There are things that society deems as wrong and much of it I do agree with. However I don't see jesus as a messiah. On the other hand I don't see what Hester did was wrong. I'm against oppression and igmire those who stand up to oppressors. I'm truly sorry for offending you if I did.
Boudiga 9 months ago
@Boudiga I am not offended and I commend you for both your frankness and polite manner. Both are necessary for a productive discussion. I do believe in sin as it is anything that is against God. Truly Hester did wrong if only somewhat wrong but any wrong is worthy of death and always has been. Jesus is the only man who defeated death and sin and he did so willingly by living a perfect life and offering himself as the sacrifice for all others who will only believe in him. Scarlet is fiction.
exenrontexas 9 months ago
@Boudiga All sin come from pride. Pride is the first sin and the greatest sin. Pride is the sin of Satan from which all other sins come from. The pride of Satan was what made him challenge the authority of God and what makes him the enemy of all mankind. Some of the worst sinners in the Bible were the Jewish patriarchs such as David &Solomon. But there is hope for mankind and hope's name is Immanuel. Man is saved by faith. Abraham's virtue was that the was faithful & waited on the Lord.

DaHonestAbe 1 year ago
No, you Moron!!! Barton does not want to regulate homosexuality. He was making a comparison. If you listen to the entire program he is talking about how liberals want to regulate things that effect our health. So Barton is saying if democrats want to regulate things that make us un-healthy then they should regulate homosexuality because the CDC says it is less healthy. Barton never said homosexuality was unhealthy, he quoted the CDC. When pushing your political agenda when does the truth matter?
MAJ061785 1 year ago
Why didn't he play the entire clip? It was obviously taken out of context. He was making the point of freedom of choice. Regulating salt and fast food isn't the job of the government, it is a personal choice of what you eat and shouldn't be regulated just like homosexuality shouldn't be regulated. The left will bend and twist anything to fit their agenda. It's MSNBC people. They are commie liars.

This is very sick from the right winged Americans. The same people who wanted to keep slavery (yes that is in the bible) now states that Homosexuality is wrong. What evil people they are.
ikinmoore 1 year ago
@ikinmoore The Modern day version of slavery is not permitted in the Bible, read Exodus 21:16. You have a definition mixup. The word Slavery did not mean the same thing to the hebrews as it did to us. To the hebrews a slave was an indentured servant or someone who willing entered slavery to save themselves from poverty or starvation. Exodus 21:16 outlaws the modern version of slavery, which is slavery by force.
MAJ061785 1 year ago
@MAJ061785
They are just plain evil
ikinmoore 1 year ago
@ikinmoore Again you are mixing up the definition of slavery to an ancient people. A slave to them was a butler, a maid,or a servant. People throughout time have entered into those services willingly. Exodus 21:16 outlaws the modern version of forced slavery. You can't force in ancient hebrew word to mean what you want it to mean.
MAJ061785 1 year ago
@MAJ061785
A slave who be abused by those he served and Christians follow this teaching...??
ikinmoore 1 year ago

Giant facepalm.
ueks69 10 months ago
@ueks69 You are clearly taking what i said out of context and not commenting on the fact that i said Exodus 21:16 outlaws slavery. Yet, the Bible still has rules to protect those who willingly enter slavery, which does not mean the modern interpretations of a slave. The Exodus references to slaves and the rules around slavery are more properly defined as an indentured servant, because someone willingly entering into servitude and was not forced, like the modern interpretation.
MAJ061785 10 months ago
@MAJ061785 The evidence for slavery in the middle east region is very well recorded, from the early egyptian and sumerian cultures and onwards to the arabian sheikdooms of the late 19 hundreds.
The bible is full of vile evil evidence of how Gawd lets you mutilate and disrespect humans not of the tribes of Israel.
You championing and defending this superstitius mumbo jumbo, just makes me certain that religion is the scourge of humanity.
So yes Giant Facepalm, slavery is slavery.
ueks69 10 months ago
@MAJ061785 However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
Your bible is full of evil things
ueks69 10 months ago
@ueks69 Sure it does, if you take select verses out of context, instead of taking the whole Bible in context. You are confusing modern definitions with ancient cultures and customs. You must research how ancient cultures functioned. A friend of mine made a video on the this subject and puts this exact verse in context & explains how slavery worked in these ancient cultures. The video title is "Leviticus 25:44 Slaves in the Bible."
MAJ061785 10 months ago
@MAJ061785 ancient cultures and customs ;) your arguing that in ancient times the israelites treated their slaves good and fair ;) i call it as it is, slavery is evil, the Old testament promotes it, and even the new testament has nothing against it.
The Fictioness Vile Creator of the old testament was an evil bully, killing left right and center, this reflecting the society his worshippers founded.
You try to explain and justify actions made behalf on a fictioness charecter,it is most laughable
ueks69 10 months ago
@ueks69 You are still judging slavery by its modern view and not looking at it from a historical view. This was long before democracy and most civilizations were run by kings. So in a sense 99.9% of people were slaves. Modern slavery is evil, which the Bible outlaws, Exodus 21:16. But, this was a different custom and definition. Doctors and lawyers would enter slavery at times to advance their lives. If you are going to read only select verses from the Bible then you will get an evil God.
MAJ061785 10 months ago
@MAJ061785 Judging by modern view.....Slavery is slavery, if another person owns you its slavery.....Your bible condoens it, it even promotes it.
You are living on a lie if you think slavery was different in the bronzeage than anything we have today ;)
Seriusly, you need to rethink your morals and values, never thought i would have to say that to a christian , well there is always a first time :)
ueks69 10 months ago
@ueks69 You haven't commented on the fact that professionals sold themselves into slavery to pay debt & to advance their lives in new cultures. Believe it or not, one of the jobs that slaves had was being a policeman. Slavery in ancient times was the equivalent of getting a job today. Slaves had benefits. The majority population were slaves in most cultures. Slavery is only bad if the master is abusive and the slave is forced into it, the Bible condemns both. Study history and ancient cultures.
MAJ061785 10 months ago
@MAJ061785 You really belive the crap your spelling out on the interwebz :) Slavery was slavery. Someone owned you, they had right to everything that was your person...Some house slaves may have had a good life, but they where still slaves, and no you did not enter into slavery willingly....You keep saying this, I want proof, so please show the reference to text, to actual contracts etc etc....
Your bible is vile and evil, you keep defending by being unthuthfull, says more about christianity ;)

I'm still waiting for Rekers to actually take someone to court,

It's kind of ironic. He would take them to court, and have to,
under oath, state what happened, in order to prove
that they were spreading lies. Of course, being under oath,
he's obligated to tell the truth. So, if he doesn't want to admit
to "erotic massages", he shouldn't go to court.
GlassAgate 1 year ago
@SirGaul
Now, what he could do is claim the 5th. Of course, the only way that that
would work is if he was pleading to a crime, which I don't think that he did
is a crime. Does this make sense? To prove that they were slandering him,
he has to admit what happened, which means that he has to explain
the "erotic massages".
