@Hakkzpets The Gameboy can go down to a C3 without modification. It can also output three square waves by writing a square wave into the sample channel's wave pattern. So the limit is three squares + noise.

Hypothetically one could mix more squares in software and stream them to the sample channel, but that is black programming magic (and something I'm attempting to do).
