@sullyFL fyi, LFA's best time is 7:14.64 which is 10 seconds faster than GTR for a single lap. You could be right that GTR would be 10 seconds faster if Nissan put an extra $300k to that car.
@realchimera Add some slicks to the GTR, drop it two inchs, and call it a ring edition and the GTR would beat the LFA Nurburgring Package. The only reason the LFA NP exists is because the stock GTR holds a 14 second advantange over the stock LFA, which is basically proof the the LFA sucks donkey balls.

Lexus designed a great car. I think they are holding back on performance. They could have easily made the LF-A top out over 200 mph and go 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds. I mean cmon', Nissan built a 6 Cylinder 3.8L racing with Lambo's and McClaren's.

The car is ugly IMO. The new Cadillacs pull-off the angular design style very well, but not Toyota. Maybe I'm biased, but I think Italians, Germans, and Americans do a better job with design [Architecture & Styling] than the Asians]. The buildings, cars, and art are excellent in European countries - Ferraris typically easy on the eyes. This Toyota is far from easy on the eyes; it's forced angles for the sake of being different and that's usually a failed premise.

But the worst is how it looks; mainly I hate the hard edgy lines over the headlights that meet a rounded bumper (those lines continued down to the bumper on the prototype) and the turn signals look like they were glued on as an afterthought.

@Miike92 i am not talking about driving on a race track. cuz everyone does that right? average person buys a car on performance. of corse the lfa has a entire carbon fiber body. but for the price of the ZR1 i would rather have a ZR1. LFA=400k ZR1=125k. overall ZR1 is a by far better deal and has great performance. both cars are amazing but dollar for dollar the ZR1 takes the cake

hey @miike92 to tell you the true the Corvette ZR1 is a great ass car but you see alot of them on the streets the Lexus LFA you dont see it on the streets so that is what you can call a Exotic car cuz you dont see it around all super cars including europe cars like lambo ferrari lotus bmw bens etc all of them are exotic to but you see them on the street as well as the ZR1 but the Lexus LFA its pretty much of what you can call a Really Exotic Car then all of the other name brand cars ;)

Even though the LFA is nice, I would rather have a ZR1 or GTR just because I prefer Chevrolet or Nissan over Toyota/Lexus. One thing I dont understand is why didnt they just come out with a Supra again? The LFA kinda looks like it took some cues from the Supra.

I don't know why they'd want to make this car look like that. The concept looks much better. The most sporty car from Japan would have to be... either the rx7 or the r35 GTR or the NSX. And The supra was very underrated. The car only had 300 hp and did what alot of Ferraris did. Thats very impressive...

Name another car with 320hp that could do the same. You can't dude the 430hp Challenger couldn't do it and it has 100hp more. It took a 400hp Corvette to do 180mph. The Toyota Supra is one of a kind. The car is ugly IMO. The new Cadillacs pull-off the angular design style very well, but not Toyota. Maybe I'm biased, but I think Italians, Germans, and Americans do a better job with design [Architecture & Styling] than the Asians]. The buildings, cars, and art are excellent in European countries - Ferraris typically easy on the eyes. This Toyota is far from easy on the eyes; it's forced angles for the sake of being different and that's usually a failed premise.

They ruined the design of the LFA in the excution. Round nose to an angular rear end. The design just has no flow and at this level that's unacceptable. Who would pay 400k for a car that 99.99% of people think costs at most 40 grand?

@MrAlexkohl1993 Then why isn't it very fast? I mean, 0-60 in 3.7 seconds is decent, but it's kinda slow for 400k. I mean, that's slower than a ZR1, Porsche 911 Turbo, and a Nissan GTR. And all of those cars kick the LFA's ass around the nurburgring. But the worst is how it looks; mainly I hate the hard edgy lines over the headlights that meet a rounded bumper (those lines continued down to the bumper on the prototype) and the turn signals look like they were glued on as an afterthought.

@ichwersunst Well you should know that the Super GT 500 have rules and regulations and the most important rule is which ever car is in the race has to be a PRODUCTION CAR within the last 5 years, now honda got special permission for 2010 only honda is not going to ask for special permission again for 2011,2012,2013 etc super gt wont allow is cuz then nissan and toyota could do the same then. Dont worry my freind the 2010 hsv should come around the same time the LFA comes out i know it

Me to! You can get Honda's "performance" motors that rev to ranges of 8200rpm - 9,000rpm and still get 30mpg+ and 0-60 times of 6.3-5.8 seconds.
Search Youtube for B16, B18c, H22, K20, F20c. They all sound insane in person.
