crysis for a normal PC isnt much, but you must understant it depents on developers intelligence and skill, a game like GTA4 for PC has shitty graphics and most Crysis running PC's cant handle it..... even though , say a terrible-graphic wise game like san andreas can be easily modded to fit GTA4 standards and let PC run it like its butter.

Because this is just a trailer for graphics, as you notice, non of those characters of the ISA are in Killzone 2, and also if you look again, the beginning of the actual game where they crash land on Helghan is pretty much this CG trailer recreated but better.

everyone keeps saying that the graphics in killzone 2 dont live up to the ones in this trailer. i think that the graphics in the full game are far better.

I agree to, the only thing the CG trailer really has over the actual game play is hair, and a couple of explosions.

Gears is a totally different style game. Killzone is a fps, not over the shoulder. That's like comparing Kane and Lynch to Resistance 2.

anybody else hr notice that in the actual gm play vids none of the players use the one hear. they all use the fast rifle. i must say i like this one. is seems slow but god damn fucking poweful. i wd luv to use it and blow bk helgast!!!! hope they have it. anyone else agree?

The rifle used in this trailer is the early version of the one used by the ISA now. They got rid of the grenade launcher and changed the way it looks. This trailer was made before the game was fully in development.

this doesn't look that much different from the actual product. in all honesty, i prefer the look of the real thing; it's much darker in its tone.

imo, guerrilla have lived up to the high bar they set for themselves. bravo. now, let's hope the game play and story don't ruin the ridiculous visuals. by ridiculous, i mean the best i've ever seen on a console. period.

The story might not be amazing, It will be good. The story even if it is mediocre, The satisfaction of the amazing graphics and killing enemies will feel amazing, plus the online that is supposedly going to be the best in the industry.

are u kidding???...Unreal engine 3 is WEAK!!. though it is used by many Devs it is a weak engine, Source engine is a pretty old engine and can't Pull high visuals like this. Eg Left 4 Dead

but this is before any games came out with the unreal engine, and i said it looked like they were going to use it, because of the architectural style is similar to ut3 or gears of war.

yeah, ur right at that, honestly i gotta admit id does look like they were about to use the Unreal engine..:P,Mirror's edge used Unreal engine 3, and the engine was soo weak it coundn't render cutscenes, that's why it is in hand drawn animation. The visuals for that game were good, really good, but it showed the limitations of Unreal engine 3
