It's sweet how for the first half or so of the film, Fronsac doesn't show his true badass colours, and lets Mani kick all the ass. Then he flips out and starts doing combat rolls and dispatching peoples asses through walls, in an elegantly efficient yet wincingly brutal style, like a 17th century super pissed off Steven Segal. Pretty unexpected and wholly awesome. I love this movie.

I felt the same way about the movie, even watching it in its original French.
