It's not about the "Parente Racing Theme". It's about Shakedown as a whole. Good for you for reading the comments - perhaps you'll understand now that many of us skip the show. Not just this time but EVERY time. Perhaps, then, you'll also recognise that something needs to be done with the format and/or style to make this a little more universal. This has potential to be an insightful topic but it's not up there with "Inside F1" in terms of pace, presentation, or connection with target audience.
I enjoy Leo as a host, he often draws a chuckle from me. Bear in mind this is a automotive news show, racing is automotive news, and that last weekends news is not exactly old. Just because you do not appreciate Leo's contribution DOES NOT mean you speak for all of us.
Yeah it goes a little too fast for those who don't really know anything about motorsports. For most of us, all we know about racing is the major F1 teams and drivers and that there is a Le Mans LMP, GT1, GT2, GT3 series (sure as hell can't name any drivers). Leo knows his stuff he just needs to slow it down or something or teach us about racing. Most of us watch this to see what new lambo, porsche, or ferrari is being developed so we can get our hopes up that one day we could actually own one

I'm an F1 man til the end, but I'm sort of pissed I missed NASCAR at Gilles. I mean, that's what some of us closet nascar fans want: more road tracks. My theory is this---the more road tracks you have, the more changes nascar might make to car regulations (lighter weight, better suspension, etc), thus making NASCAR even more challenging and appealing than it is now. I would love to see those cars do what the V8 Supercars of Australia do...but I can dream.
Also, Leo: your suit needs to go on a diet. Go to a good tailor and have it tapered. You look a bit uncomfortable in that box and I really don't blame you...

I really don't like how Leo always prefers everything over NASCAR. I'm not really a NASCAR fan, but if that were me, I would cover motorsports equally and fairly.
Also, do people even consider DC a skateboarding company anymore?
I skate and I remember when DC wasn't popular and actually made excellent functioning skate shoes. Now the just make shoes that people think look cool. I think they look like shit. I hate DC.

I'm an F1 man til the end, but I'm sort of pissed I missed NASCAR at Gilles. I mean, that's what some of us closet nascar fans want: more road tracks. My theory is this---the more road tracks you have, the more changes nascar might make to car regulations (lighter weight, better suspension, etc), thus making NASCAR even more challenging and appealing than it is now. I would love to see those cars do what the V8 Supercars of Australia do...but I can dream.

One thing you did gain in my eyes is credibility as a racing commentator because you are/were a racer. However, I lost focus on your message because most comments kept returning to you talking about yourself. Cockiness may not have been the correct word. Self-centered would be more correct. I saw cockiness because I am jealous that I am not as good of a racer as you. Just the fact that you raced in Montreal under those circumstances seems like something to aspire to.

I think thats pure insanity that i'd love to have in my garage. Thats wat i think. And 1100 with a V12 is Useful Since u got boost across the rpm range. Its not 3.0L with huge turbos that can piss out 1100hp for about 700rpm in the rpm band.

I could go safe and say each one has it's merits. And that may be true [including NASCAR].
But, I'm loving MotoGP.
The tech, the talent, the passes, the personalities. There is politics and BS behind the scenes, but it doesn't seem to seep into the racing like other series.

Anyone who says that Montreal is a good thing is dumb. NASCAR is for America not French fuck canadians. There is plenty of good road courses in the U.S. They said drivers start ur engines in French for Gods sake.

Was calling anyone supporting a Nascar race outside of the US "dumb" really necessary? US or not, its still a Nascar race and its still supported so whats the difference? Certain people claim its the best racing in world so why not prove it? Look it's fine to like it's just that nobody in Canada cares and they were all rooting for some French guy who doesn't race NASCAR and crap like that is gonna change the sport. if ppl could just root for other people it wouldn't even be bad. But I guess it's the same in the states with Dale jr anyway but still.
Anyway what I mean is road courses are cool, but NASCAR is supposed to be run on an oval track and now they are leaving the country for road courses and becoming the same crap.

man wtf is your problem!? dont blame leo for your ignorance. first U.S. isnt the center of the world and 2nd; Formula 1 is the max category of racing is where technology and driver performance is pushed to the limit to make incredible phisic-bending cars.. and nascar is a sport that got stuck in the 60's and where is noplace for improvement or creativity. if you compare it to F1 they're just plastic last-century cars that go in circles.
