Such an inspiring work... Frank Turner himself is just as inspiring, but when you hear the honesty from an artist, it truly does motivate you, and makes you feel more proud that you have come across such amazing music. This video is one of the best documentaries I have ever watched of an artist.
Your words having spoken to me more than anybody else's even though I probably will never meet you personally I wanted to say thank you. Your music keeps me going through the shit in my life and keeps me wanting to live ever hour until I die, Cheers mate,
'Balthazar, Impresario' basically sums up what he was saying at the beginning of the video. Taking pride in what you do, having trust in your own decisions.
I'm the same as him in that I don't like the idea of death and want to do as much as possible in my life. Go Frank.
I watched this on channel 4 the other night as I had thoughts of quitting music. It was like he was speaking directly to me, or the universe was-through him.
'Just believe in yourself, that something's gonna come of it...the music you're making is worth making, it's worth communicating with the people that you're communicating with and there's a point to it all'
So powerful and inspiring :-D Again, Thank you :-D
I saw Frank opening for social distortion in ac nj last year. He was working his own booth and trying to eat a sandwich when we walked in. The crowd was there for social d. For myself and my girlfriend Frank stole the show. I've tickets for the Philly show the last night of the US tour. I can't wait to be there in a room full of people there to enjoy Franks music. FTHC. Fn brilliant.
i hope frank never ever stops, i dont think any of his records are appreciated as they should be right now. but but but. i honestly when people look at who made truely great music frank turner will be in the same sentence of people like the libs, arctic monkeys and the killers (irrespective of your own preference and for better or worse in ten years time people will say those bands.) the most important singer songwriter of our times? yes and it would take something monumental to change opinion.
i can sit here and type 100 reasons why i love frank and how he inspires me and influences my life but i can some everything he and his music up into one short sentence
This is so touching. He's just such a beautiful person, so much ambition, so much commitment to his music, and he just has this whole view on life like he just wants to LIVE, and it's so inspiring. This really touched me, he's such a lovely person.
That thing he said about music being honest, and truthful, and so on? I think that's why everyone here loves his music. Because that's what you can hear in it. And also why it's awesome ;)
You are such an inspiration! I loved this video and honestly wish it was an hour longer. Thankyou for doing what you do Frank, I love every fucking second of it!
When I felt like nothing else could make me smile or laugh, I could always rely on Frank to do just that - his songs mean so much to me, that whenever I'm feeling down, I know i can put some Franky-T on, and everything will seem a whole lot brighter. (:
Thank you Frank for being such an inspiration to all of us, and keeping real music alive (: x
Frank Turner is the definitoin of music in my eyes, and i would love the opertunity to see him perform live just havent yet, but that day will come and when it does it will be amazing from what i hear.
One of the nicest guys in music. So many people adore him and he still manages to be the most normal guy in the world.. in terms of talking to people at shows and ego etc. Genuinely love this guy.
Would love to see this man live again - except maybe not crouched on the stairs of Bristol O2 academy trying to get a good enough view! It was packed!
seeing Frank Turner is like nothing else. You stand there, never wanting the show to end, knowing that every person around you feels the same as they belt out the words to his emotional songs. When I leave a show it's like everything in life is going to be okay, no matter what happens on the way, and I'm buzzing for days afterwards, already looking forward to the next one. Thank you, Frank.
@lemysp i waited for almost 3 hours in the freezing cold just so i could get to the front, it was one of the worst months of my life, but that one night kept me going, i think frank has magic powers.
@lemysp haha i have been at many. i'm never really thinking about the show ending though - me and everyone around me seem to get so into the moment that there's this effect of wholly concerning oneself with living and nothing else. or something pretty close to it :p
give it 2 years. and you wont be able to step out your house without hearing this man's name or music. and he deserves everything he is going to be. Frank turner- my inspiration- my hero
I opened up for Frank in Hartford, CT last year, and I've never seen an audience so connected with an artist. Sang every word of every song. Cheers to you Frank, this vid is awesome as are you. See you on The Road.
the guys paid his dues, now it's paying off. Take a minute to check out Gaz Brookfield, he's played with Frank a few times, they are both worthy and very talented journeymen.
