Personally, everyone, both songs are equally good. In away almost incompareable. The bg music is the same but the songs are rather different/opposite. They convey different emotions & meanings. Haley's is more lustful where as BoA's is about someone who did you wrong and/or blew it you and now thinks that you should be a fool and let them do it all over again like nothing ever happened, its about not letting ppl take advantage of you. BoA is more meaning/relateable. Hayley's is happy & lustful.
@irenaldys It wasnt on the the deluxe album it was on the regualr one. Well it was on both but yeah the deluxe was were two entirely different songs were added. And this song was credited to be a remake, neither copied its just the song was doble marketed by the creators. The writer & producer have the right to give the song to whom ever they want since its their creation. The singers have write if they had a part in the creation other than vocal. They should be told/asked about, but often arent.
@irenaldys its a industry issue. Many artist go through this wondering if they're song was taken only to find out their label was lazy and double marketed the song. Its commn for 1 artist to have a song @ the same time as another artist in an entirely different country. Creating the ":O they stole" that song issue. My idea is as long as credit is given or at least rights are brought and no one falsely claims to be the sole owner/creator then all is well.
The producers made this song based on Britney Spears's "Toxic". It's like they were trying to recreate it, especially for Buddha's Delight... too bad it flopped... I loved that song. :(
I see the difference. Haley's is to seduce and represent lust, while BoA's is to represent the feeling of overcoming love that has been took avantage of. Personally I like BoA's message more, especially since her message is not only more realtable, but also its better than singing of lust like every other song (sex sells). Songs, like poetry, aren't only to seduce or make people dance (although dance is a benefit). Either way I like both songs equally :)
Wow... With headphones, it's an explosion of awesomeness. Great job!
