Yes, Yes, Rosetta Hines-Loving would play this song. I spoke with her about 5 years ago because I wanted to hear it and someone "Lifted" her copy of it. Thanks. Thanks so very much.
Hey Gang: They used to play this tune on WJZZ in Detroit back in the 70's and I loved it. I haven't heard the in over 30 years! Wow, what memories, I have played the thing over and over again. Back then I just liked the song, never paid much attention to the lyrics, now that I am older and wiser I got it!
Got to see her in this production on Broadway. Directed by Tom O'Horgan while some of us were still next door in "HAiR". Some of our former cast mates were also in this show, Larry Marshall, Allan Nicholls, Fluffer Hirsch & Delores Hall. What a sentimental feeling I'm having listening to this song. Thanks for posting.
Are there any other answers? What you've provided with your usual gusto and aplomb makes me shiver!!! These 3 are about the best we're ever likely to hear, and each one is exceptional. Many thanks my friend; sadly there are only 5 stars! Would that there were more!
I remember this being played on JZZ, but my favorite was Misty Blue.

86 years young!! If Ms. Hoplins looks at You Tube, I hope she knows there are so many people who still greatly admire her enormous talents.

Linda originated this song in the Broadway show and shopped the show every night.
