Lagerstroemia ( /ˌleɪɡərˈstriːmiə/),[1] commonly known as Crape myrtle or Crepe myrtle, is a genus of around 50 species of deciduous and evergreen trees and shrubs native to the Indian subcontinent, southeast Asia, northern Australia and parts of Oceania, cultivated in warmer climates around the world.

  • need more of this jjk

  • This is a very good Reason of why you should plant with the Native Plants. This Year alone, 2011 saw Only the 2 Pink Crepe Myrtles made it through the Summer's heat and Drought here in Texas while everything else was dying or Dead. Echinacea Plants will make it through too.
