I'd never thought it was possible to play this solo on a piano. The playing ain't perfect, but it drives me to tears just like Roger Water's original composition. I still believe this is one of the strongest of Pink Floyd's songs. I grew up with that shit.

For those who'd like to solo I can recommend a simple pentatonic scale.

For example if you're playing it in, let's say C minor. A C pentatonic will work perfectly. :)

If I may suggest without any intention of offense and undue criticism??? you have demonstrated your remarkable prowess and technical expertise with the piano. However it is not how "well" one plays piano. Its about how "exactly" one reproduces the original song. this was too fast than the original tempo and too loud. If I may also suggest humbly please taek time to Listen to the cover of Hey You by Debbie johnson on youtube. you will get my point. Hoping for your next more blasting post on tube

I think you need to get a life. The point of someone covering a song like this is too put your own feelings and interpret it the way you see fit. It is not about "how exactly on reproduces the original song". Maybe this very talented man feels that this song should be louder and a little faster. Or maybe that's just how he did it!
