  • @supersentz This cost around 2.5K HKD but some components is hard to found !

  • thanks. very nice amp. I would like to know more about this kind of amp. in which I've never build a tube amps.

  • Obviously done with a lot of loving care - and very well. Congratulations and thanks for putting it up.

  • @23565120 Thanks for watching

  • Any of you here willing to do 1 tube amp comes with speaker between 1-5watt whcich comes with a footswith

for a crystal clear clean channel and for distortion channel ?

I,m from Singapore . willing to pay in whatever mode u prefer...

  • What is the name this song ?

  • @svarcpatrik96 "The Future Sound of World" ALASKA Disc 1 Thanks

  • Hi,

can you send me please the schematic of your tube amp?

  • @Gitarrenlesson

Hi you may go to "photobucket" I was uploaded some schematics there and with my same ID here !

  • @Gitarrenlesson

If you got the schematic from "photobucket" please skip the 30u E.cap from the feed back point parallel with the 2K resistor, If you don't remove the 30u the feed back will not affect

  • @Gitarrenlesson

Hi please search with my ID scericli on photobucket you will get those schematic diagram there Thanks .and if you got any problem just let me know OK!

  • @Gitarrenlesson

Hi bro. you can search my same ID here from the site photobucket and the schematic will there but IMO the 12AT7 for gain stage sound should better ! Thanks for watching

  • Copper copper and more copper! How much did it cost in parts to build? You know your stuff! How long did it take you to build? If you used old american transformers you might better even better sound! FYI

  • @flagshipaudio

I'm properly to bought those components around 300 usd ,and took 2 weeks to finish! but as I know this R core transformers is better than any EI type's one

In my memory the best sound O/P transformer plenty of that stuffs is made in UK !! Thanks for your comment

  • @flagshipaudio i think its fiberglass copper clad pcbs those can be bought cheap

  • be care full what you destroy to get them tubes though!

  • Yeah, but the 5751 is a drop-in replacement for the circuit you're running. It should do just fine electrically, and it'll sound a lot better. Keep building and have fun.

  • @analogistheone

Thanks for the useful advice and your comments .Brother !

  • That looks very well made, I want to make one, one day, I can solder but I'd have to do a lot of research before attempting such a thing, tubes were before my time..

  • @helicoptered

Try your best If you need any data please email me !

  • @scericli why thanks there, kind of you.. I not got the parts to build one, i'm hoping it's possible to make something from old valve radios or tv sets maybe salvage transformers from things, maybe just buy some tubes/valves.. I'm in uk I don't really know where to start in all honesty :)

  • The copper layer is a very nice touch. I personally would use the 5751 as the voltage tube. It doesn't have the gain of the ecc83, more like a ecc82, but you can compensate by cranking your preamp louder. The 5751 is very low priced compared to choice 12a types and runs much more linear than any other nine-pin miniature that I've heard. Very nice job.

  • @analogistheone

Because its need the phase revert gain stage one inside the ecll800 I think the designer want the same characteristic tube like the 12AT7 for 1/2 ecll800

  • Watching this made me feel happy, and I don't really know why. I think it's a form of art that talks to me on some level I don't understand. I would love to have an amp like this! So beautiful on some kind of personal level as well.

    Thanks for the video.

  • @BadChizzle

Thanks for your encouragement .I think we may have the closer age !

I could imagine your passion ....

  • Nice. Hvent seeany vacuum tube circuts with r core transfomers

  • During last two years I was seen a shop who has DIY a 7189 PP amplifier using this R core transformer and the sound is better than any other audio transformer! So I went to seeking the components shop to found it!

This R core TR. is made in China it's may OEM for other factory

  • interesting. im guna try that myselff. great job with the amp

  • @bob505470

Hi Sorry I'm missing your comments since a long time

    Thanks for Watching !

  • Beautiful box!

Did you have the aluminum anodized black or did you use a diy chemical color application?

  • I only use the 25 HK tin set set black flat spary paint , and cover a clear paint for finishing

    Thanks for watching

  • Nice construction!

  • Thanks for your watching and comment !

  • dang, that's good!!! Especially for the age when you made it!!! Currently Im 16 and i just made a transistor stereo amp. They make it easier now cause they use Integrated Circuits, but it's not as warm sounding, too manufactured. i wanna make a amplifier that runs off of batteries (if even possible) to play music off of my ipod.

  • Your my first one such as this age, very appreciated your comments , Integrated Circuits also could get warm sound just depend how you tweak the peripheral conponents and also the power supply. try your best !

  • Good job, well done!

  • I really appreciate your comment .Thanks!

  • Hmm, I have a little question.

I know with tube guitar amplifiers, a tube amp rated at 100watts RMS is gonna be a hell of alot louder than a solid state amp rated at 100watts RMS, because tubes have so much more to push out after they begin distorting. What about in Hifi, because you can't just push the tubes till the distort, seeing as you want a clear signal, so would a 10watt tube stereo amp still be bloody loud, without distorting?

  • Just to see what is the loading sensitivity (speaker) matching is more inportant I mean

    thanks for watching

  • well done dude :))

  • hello i was just wondering hows the proper order to trun on and offf the tube amps?standby first or how?

  • The standby mode is make delay when switch on major power to protect the surge voltage apprear to charge up the E.cap. suddenly in a short MS.but may no need for tube rectifier

  • the song is sony? VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV

  • Here is the song name "The Future Sound of World" ALASKA Disc 1

    Thanks

  • what is the song and ouput power?

  • It's has 8 Watt / Ch.

Sony as I told on below reply Thanks for watching

  • I am not a fan of tube amplifiers, but one comment I would say since seeing this video: Very nice, and very well constructed, you have inspired me to want to build one, congratulations! but I may be constructing a Guitar amp instead :)

  • Thank you and hope you will create the one you want

  • NICE !!! Nice Job ! :)

  • Thanks for watching

  • Thi Tube amp is beautiful?

What the title of this music?

  • Thanks for watching The music is Day Dream

"The Future Sound of World" ALASKA Disc 1

  • Sorry too late to reply the discuss .Yes the DIL is 555 delay time is 8 seconds

  • my god thats beautiful!

ive never seen those kinds of output transformers you have, are they an early design of toridals?

    did you design this amp?

  • preludefan Thanks for the comment, This schematic I guess was developed from 1962 from Germany and in1964 modify by one's Hong Kong DIYer This output transformer is R-core type May be some OEM product but the sound is really outstanding .....

  • que ha construido un robot???

    jajaj

  • so many many speakers the amp can drive

  • This amplifier only 8W/Ch. out put

  • i know nothing about valve amps only i know they sound great< i am interested in making one but were can i get information on making one? were can i buy the parts?

  • wood box is the best ...but your work is very good ...bravo my friend...

  • what was the cost to build this amplifier?

  • Thanks The DIL IC is use for control main power launch after the heater warm !

Point to point solder is better sound than PCB

  • very nice!

im currently building my first 5 watt guitar amp, if it goes well im going to build a stereo amp like yours when ive learned enough!

    i bet it sounds great!

  • Nice video, nice work !

What brand capacitors are those ?

  • Hi The E.Caps is Elna Cerafine coupling Caps is M Cap.Silver oil also has some little Wima

  • Very professional-looking. I bet it sounds great too.

  • Hi Evan Thanks for your comment

  • Good job, Very clean........ Takes a craftsman....

  • manhattan right??? or is it just point to point with a large ground plane

  • The case work is nice. How did you drill? Also, is that a R-core transformer, how do you like it?

  • Yes this is the R -core output transformer sound is great, make you very exciting and this one also could use to ultra linear type.

I drill only with my cordless drill !

  • Nice amp. Weird tubes your using. I like 6AQ5.

  • To say that you have skill would be an understatement. Incredible work my friend.

  • Thanks for the comment,This would be my last DIY classic tube amplifier now just for memorial!!
