swap telsa ball and electroburst with galvanize and arc lightning. galvanize can instantly heal an entire group from half health to full. arc lightning is great for healing the tank or other team members around the target. the heal from bio cap. is equal to the last hit of ionic drain and arc lightning

Hey AubDog. I made a Lightning healer that uses this loadout and I must say it works wonderfully. In alerts, it takes a LOT to kill anyone in the group. Everyone's health bars stay at at 75%. When I do the Tesla Ball/Electroburst combo, it barely takes any of my power and I can do it about 4-5 times in a row which makes my healing overly efficient XD Anyway, thanks for the great vid and loadout.
@TheZoroa Excellent! I'm very glad you found this video so helpful! Just keep in mind that this loadout isn't the absolute best for raids so you might have to change some things when you get to doing those.

@Skyun70 Well for 1v1 duels I think most healers prefer to wear the actual PvP armour... but I've heard that the restoration offered by T3 PvE armour is so good that some healers like to swap out a couple pieces of T3 PvP for T3 PvE in the PvP arenas to boost their healing output. Anything less than T3 isn't worth it though.

2:42 THAT'S 35%?!? That is scary low. If I saw my hp drop that low I would panic. They need to buff that supercharge, bump that 35% effect to below 55%.
Im an Ice tank. I have a plan to make a new team starting at a low level and work with them to level up together, that way when we're at level 30 and doing raids we will have worked together and know each others moves ect. @Clarknr Well in my opinion Galvanize is one of the two best raid powers for a lightning healer. The thing about this particular loadout is that its meant to be useable for PvP, Duos, Alerts, Raids, Dueling and pretty much everything else so galvanize wasn't a good choice for it in my opinion
I think you got the list in the description back to front, you state Invigorate as being on the left, but on your loadout it's the R2+ Triangle. Great sounding loadout, I've just become a lightning healer (now level 21) and I'm gonna try out this loadout.
im thinkin about respecin from nature heal to lightning heal but every1 says this is no good idea.. lighting heal is always OOM and such things.

@DrLeiwand Yeah nature healing is still the best in my opinion but lightning healing isn't too bad. Its on par with sorcery as far as I'm concerned. I don't know if I could recommend the switch, but if you're wondering how the healing works you should think of it as the big numbers offered by sorcery healing combined with the the target specific heals offered by nature. Generally lightning healing is great... as long as you don't get interrupted or stunned
Great video! This is helping my buddy alot. I have one question though. I'm not a lightning user. To use the Tesla Blast with Electroburst, don't you have to fire at alot of different enemies to get maximum effect? Tesla Blast is a single target power, right?
Btw- I love Handblaster's Pulse beam. It rakes up huge hit chains and generates power quick.
@ArgentM1 Yup you are 100% correct. The reason that I'm starting to prefer Tesla Blast to Tesla Ball is because its lower power cost and quick cooldown make it a lot more useful in boss fights, duels and sometimes pvp arenas. It also saves you a couple power points. Tesla Ball is still good and I do use it sometimes in places like the Batcave where there are large groups spawning from one direction - but otherwise I mainly use Tesla Blast.
lvled a tank and troller and now i just started making a sourcery healer (only lvl 9) and was wondering which is more fun to play as, sorc heals or electricity heals? havent thad the chance to try elect since i dont have the dlc yet
@surdect To be honest I haven't played as a sorcery healer so I can't say. Lightning healing is fun though. It kind of combines the high number heals you get with sorcery with the target specific healing offered by nature. It also looks cooler (in my opinion anyways) :P
@AubdogHD hmm thanks for the info :) will be getting dlc soon, and on a side note, i think that electricity should be a troller roll and hard light a tank roll, it just makes more sense to me that way but just my two cents
@TheAverageGamer401 The back piece is a style item you can buy in the in-game marketplace. The legs are from the cyborg skin type that can be bought from a vendor found near Star Labs in Metropolis (if you're a hero) or a vendor near the Ace Chemical Plant in Gotham (if you're a villain). The chest is Egyptian style, the shoulders Paramilitary, the head is Cyborg and I believe the hands are Tech Ninja style but I can't quite remember. Almost all of it was looted from story missions or the vault
@TheAbyssro I started to swap out Tesla Ball for Tesla Blast and made a few other small changes. I think this video gives a good starting point to base your lightning healer off of but I intend to make a video in the future with some alternative loadouts.
@jacklanting The absolute best PvP armor all has an item level of 30. Your combat rating is determined by a formula that calculates your total AVERAGE item level, although certain pieces like the chest and legs are weighted more heavily. Your combat rating is used exclusively for PvE and so because of that you have to get PvE armor to raise your rating. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, good luck out there!

@AEchaoslord I'm not sure if there are respec tokens, I think I heard somewhere that there are but I can't say for sure. I made this character from scratch. The back piece is a style item that can only be bought with real life currency in the game's marketplace. Again sorry to disappoint but I haven't played enough as a dps to make a useful video that I can guarentee would be as useful as this one

I'm a nature healer, Electric looks alot more diverse I think, like they've polished off some of natures flaws with the HoT's, think i'll have to repec and try it out, :)

@jacklanting Well the best way to get your combat rating up is to get it high enough to do raids. Raid gear combined with Mark of Distinction gear will get your combat rating up to 53 if you buy the right pieces
@AubdogHD Is Shroud of Anubis armor good? It is from influenze points. so far I got 2 pieces and every 2 levels I get another piece until full. Then, when I get my this character to level 30, I will already have the full piece! Right now I am level 19. next piece is at level 21.
@stevequannum With this loadout when I cycle to dps I use Tesla Blast (or Tesla Ball), Electroburst, Electrogenesis, Overcharge (I think thats what its called), Bio-Capacitator and Invigorate. Needless to say the cycle to dps sucks, :P
great vid.... i use a similar loadout but instead of tesla ball i use wired... in the times i've used tesla ball.. it wont electrify bosses which is normally where i use it most... it will just do some damage... wired as we all know buffs group members and their attacks will electrify then all i have to do is run up hit electroburst and run out...
@TroyMusic121 Yup, I totally would have wired in this loadout but it just wasn't reliable for raids and so it wouldn't really fit in to this whole "one-size-fits-all" theme. For groups of 4 wired is pretty boss. If you want to, try swapping out wired for Tesla Blast (not ball), it frees up a few more power points and it lets you target EXACTLY where you want the heal to go... and so far it electrifies 100% of the time

@ConAirAmvs Hey, glad it helped! The best healer weapon is either Dual Pistol (if you're into hardcore healing) or Bow (if you want to do a bit more damage). The reason for this is because you regenerate power faster when you have a high hit combo - and since both the Bow and Dual Pistol have really fast attacks they build up your combo counter faster than other weps and thus you're able to regen power at a faster rate.
And of course Duel Wield is the best close range melee choice :)
@AubdogHD ty thats wat i was leaning towards i was tryin a hand blaster with the restoration buff from dual pistols but i liked it but was kinda having issues with regen on my powers
@TheInfamous292 If you get the blue gear from Hall of Doom Magic Wing vendor (costs around 300 cash and 1 Mark of Triumph a piece, so you'll need around 10 Marks of Triumph). With that gear you'll be ready for the Duos, the first few T1 Alerts and Challenge Mode solo missions.
So after doing those for a while you'll start stacking up more Marks of Triumph and you can buy the Healer gear from Brother Blood in the Magic Wing. Also with Influence you can get Healer gear in the Magic Wing.
@AubdogHD Hey i have to say that this is the BEST video help i have seen. I wanted to know your opinion on something. instead of getting electroburst, arclightning, tesla ball and nanoweave armor why not try moving those points down the amp side to attract, electrostatic bomb, electrocute (this is the power that create the lightning storm aoe) and galvanize? i know you said galvanize is more raid. For the loadout invigorate biocapacitor galvanize ionicdrain electrogenesis tesla blast.
@igneelchopper Thanks! I'm glad the video helped! Now to answer your question, the thing is that with that loadout you're buying a bunch of powers that you won't be able to use as a healer. That amperage tree loadout might be good for a high skill-point dps/heal hybrid because you buy a lot of dps powers on the way to galvanize, but for someone who wants to focus on straight healing this loadout is a fair bit better. I hope this answered your question!

Hey im actually playing as a pvp lightning healer. I understand that a healers dps little as it may be should come from their weapons mostly, but I was wondering how much does tesla cost power wise? and do you think its dps (and its electrify aspect) is worth it? i only question it because as a pvp healer I always need to conserve power, But i just love the stuns, the damage is atleast decent (for a healer) and i need a new skill to electrify people. @FFvaan92 Great question! Well I'm also really in to pvp and I use the Tesla ball combination when people are around 75% health and if I have about 75% power. Recently I've swapped out Tesla Ball for Tesla Blast because of the targeted heals, debuffs and its lower power cost (its better for dueling too). If you buy Tesla Blast and electroburst, but not Arc Lightning and Tesla Ball, you can put the 2 points you save in to crit atk chance and crit magnitude. If thats unclear, message me :)

I dont get why but some of my powers refuse to go on my loadout, I put them on then they dont appear and I can't use the powers at all. Example front flip, backflip attack, fireburst & snuff out.
@finkalo The "weapon enchantment" is unreliable. When you use the Tesla ball not only do you stun everything within its range, but you also control exactly where you want the heals to be. In a raid the weapon enchantment randomly selects 4 people to get the buff, so you're never sure who is going to get it and who won't. Also the weapon enchantment doesn't electrify immediately which is another major downside. Basically its unreliable and Tesla Ball is far more versatile.
@divinedragon07 Well the power cost is too high for the heal output it gives, the heal itself is unreliable (you're never entirely sure who it will reach) unless in a raid or a large pvp situation and on top of that there is no self heal. Arc lightning is decent in raids if used properly, but if used incorrectly it will wind up doing more damage than healing, and that would be a waste of power and casting time.
@seiya209 I think lightning healing is quite good. In my opinion its definitely better than sorcery since the heals have a more versatile range; however I do think that Nature healing is on par with (or perhaps better) than lightning.
i understand why you use those last two powers, but is it really a viable option for raids? i mean, the AoE of that stomp is quite small, and also your teammates have to be close to the enemies to get healed aswell. also why dont you use the power underneath bio capacitor? whats so bad about that? :p
@rabidwolf77 Well not to be rude but in the description of this video (and in the video itself) I stated that this is a general loadout and that re-speccing for raids or pvp might be necessary to perform at one's absolute best in those instances. Galvanize is a decent power however its range is too small and its power cost is quite high so it isn't useful for anything except raids. Hopefully this makes sense :)

@AubdogHD I also have a problem with power because when I am using this load out I am only dealing like 12-30 damage even though I'm lev 30 so is there a load out I could use that combines healing and power into one load out?
@donee33 Well you should remember that as a healer your damage output is reduced. On top of that your healer-specific gear will generally give less bonuses to might and precision and if your character is new the quality of the gear you have probably isn't as good. If you truly want to be a good healer you have to focus on healing first and then consider any damage you do on top of that to be a bonus.
@donee33 Yeah there really isn't much healer specific gear in the beginning missions. If your resto is low and its giving you trouble run the Ace Chemicals alert and do all your duos because they're easy and they occasionally drop some decent stuff. Also put your skill points in to the dual pistol, dual wield and martial arts weapons trees (in that order) because they offer resto boosts at the bottom :)
@audric20051 I really enjoy using the lightning powers but unfortunately I didn't make a hard light character so I couldn't say. In my opinion the content in both is pretty fun so I'd say they have equal value.
What do you guys think of Galvanize? Because sometimes when i use the tesla/electroburst combo the heals dont go off :/

Your combat rating is used exclusively for PvE and so because of that you have to get PvE armor to raise your rating. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, good luck out there!

@AEchaoslord I'm not sure if there are respec tokens, I think I heard somewhere that there are but I can't say for sure. I made this character from scratch. The back piece is a style item that can only be bought with real life currency in the game's marketplace. Again sorry to disappoint but I haven't played enough as a dps to make a useful video that I can guarentee would be as useful as this one

@jacklanting Well the best way to get your combat rating up is to get it high enough to do raids. Raid gear combined with Mark of Distinction gear will get your combat rating up to 53 if you buy the right pieces

@AubdogHD Is Shroud of Anubis armor good? It is from influenze points. so far I got 2 pieces and every 2 levels I get another piece until full. Then, when I get my this character to level 30, I will already have the full piece! Right now I am level 19. next piece is at level 21.

@stevequannum With this loadout when I cycle to dps I use Tesla Blast (or Tesla Ball), Electroburst, Electrogenesis, Overcharge (I think thats what its called), Bio-Capacitator and Invigorate. Needless to say the cycle to dps sucks, :P

great vid.... i use a similar loadout but instead of tesla ball i use wired... in the times i've used tesla ball.. it wont electrify bosses which is normally where i use it most... it will just do some damage... wired as we all know buffs group members and their attacks will electrify then all i have to do is run up hit electroburst and run out...

@TroyMusic121 Yup, I totally would have wired in this loadout but it just wasn't reliable for raids and so it wouldn't really fit in to this whole "one-size-fits-all" theme. For groups of 4 wired is pretty boss. If you want to, try swapping out wired for Tesla Blast (not ball), it frees up a few more power points and it lets you target EXACTLY where you want the heal to go... and so far it electrifies 100% of the time

@ConAirAmvs Hey, glad it helped! The best healer weapon is either Dual Pistol (if you're into hardcore healing) or Bow (if you want to do a bit more damage). The reason for this is because you regenerate power faster when you have a high hit combo - and since both the Bow and Dual Pistol have really fast attacks they build up your combo counter faster than other weps and thus you're able to regen power at a faster rate.
And of course Duel Wield is the best close range melee choice :)

@TheInfamous292 If you get the blue gear from Hall of Doom Magic Wing vendor (costs around 300 cash and 1 Mark of Triumph a piece, so you'll need around 10 Marks of Triumph). With that gear you'll be ready for the Duos, the first few T1 Alerts and Challenge Mode solo missions.
So after doing those for a while you'll start stacking up more Marks of Triumph and you can buy the Healer gear from Brother Blood in the Magic Wing. Also with Influence you can get Healer gear in the Magic Wing.

I wanted to know your opinion on something. instead of getting electroburst, arclightning, tesla ball and nanoweave armor why not try moving those points down the amp side to attract, electrostatic bomb, electrocute (this is the power that create the lightning storm aoe) and galvanize? i know you said galvanize is more raid. For the loadout invigorate biocapacitor galvanize ionicdrain electrogenesis tesla blast.

@igneelchopper Thanks! I'm glad the video helped! Now to answer your question, the thing is that with that loadout you're buying a bunch of powers that you won't be able to use as a healer. That amperage tree loadout might be good for a high skill-point dps/heal hybrid because you buy a lot of dps powers on the way to galvanize, but for someone who wants to focus on straight healing this loadout is a fair bit better. I hope this answered your question!

Hey im actually playing as a pvp lightning healer. I understand that a healers dps little as it may be should come from their weapons mostly, but I was wondering how much does tesla cost power wise? and do you think its dps (and its electrify aspect) is worth it? i only question it because as a pvp healer I always need to conserve power, But i just love the stuns, the damage is atleast decent (for a healer) and i need a new skill to electrify people. @FFvaan92 Great question! Well I'm also really in to pvp and I use the Tesla ball combination when people are around 75% health and if I have about 75% power. Recently I've swapped out Tesla Ball for Tesla Blast because of the targeted heals, debuffs and its lower power cost (its better for dueling too). If you buy Tesla Blast and electroburst, but not Arc Lightning and Tesla Ball, you can put the 2 points you save in to crit atk chance and crit magnitude. If thats unclear, message me :)

I dont get why but some of my powers refuse to go on my loadout, I put them on then they dont appear and I can't use the powers at all. Example front flip, backflip attack, fireburst & snuff out.

@finkalo The "weapon enchantment" is unreliable. When you use the Tesla ball not only do you stun everything within its range, but you also control exactly where you want the heals to be. In a raid the weapon enchantment randomly selects 4 people to get the buff, so you're never sure who is going to get it and who won't. Also the weapon enchantment doesn't electrify immediately which is another major downside. Basically its unreliable and Tesla Ball is far more versatile.

@divinedragon07 Well the power cost is too high for the heal output it gives, the heal itself is unreliable (you're never entirely sure who it will reach) unless in a raid or a large pvp situation and on top of that there is no self heal. Arc lightning is decent in raids if used properly, but if used incorrectly it will wind up doing more damage than healing, and that would be a waste of power and casting time.

@seiya209 I think lightning healing is quite good. In my opinion its definitely better than sorcery since the heals have a more versatile range; however I do think that Nature healing is on par with (or perhaps better) than lightning.

i understand why you use those last two powers, but is it really a viable option for raids? i mean, the AoE of that stomp is quite small, and also your teammates have to be close to the enemies to get healed aswell. also why dont you use the power underneath bio capacitor? whats so bad about that? :p

@rabidwolf77 Well not to be rude but in the description of this video (and in the video itself) I stated that this is a general loadout and that re-speccing for raids or pvp might be necessary to perform at one's absolute best in those instances. Galvanize is a decent power however its range is too small and its power cost is quite high so it isn't useful for anything except raids. Hopefully this makes sense :)

@donee33 Well you should remember that as a healer your damage output is reduced. On top of that your healer-specific gear will generally give less bonuses to might and precision and if your character is new the quality of the gear you have probably isn't as good. If you truly want to be a good healer you have to focus on healing first and then consider any damage you do on top of that to be a bonus.

@donee33 Yeah there really isn't much healer specific gear in the beginning missions. If your resto is low and its giving you trouble run the Ace Chemicals alert and do all your duos because they're easy and they occasionally drop some decent stuff. Also put your skill points in to the dual pistol, dual wield and martial arts weapons trees (in that order) because they offer resto boosts at the bottom :)
