Diappointed with both..In my humble opinion, an image should not need an explanation. It should stand on its own. His photo's are all the same; someone looking this way or that. Not very deep and did not capture my eye. Her photo's were more staged (a turn off for me) but were more vibrant in color and subject. So I would concur with the judges.

It doesn't matter if you have great stories or great views about your photos. If the photos don't tell that story by themselves, they're pointless.

i don't like the woman, it's all too artificial, she's not showing something out of life, it's art, of course, but it's not the art of portrait, the art to ban somebody's life into a picture expressed by himself, not by the director of the shooting..

Oh, and I wont be buying will's images unless he comes along to stare at me for 20 seconds before hand, because apparantly thats an essential part of appreciating his work, LOL. I'll try that with my boss on Monday, ..stare him out for a while before I start doing my thing.

Then I guess im in the minority, but I thought her images were far stronger. For me, Will talking up the boxer image lost it for him. After a sparring session, your eyes are red, vest and hair are dripping with sweat , your skin is beat up! It didnt work. The girl on the bed shot he tried to talk up as a "beautiful for it" hellish place of drug deals and pimps. It was a B&B and a naked girl and a shot with no emotion. That said, there wasnt much in it, but for me, she edged it.

Anybody that flags this video for nudity needs to be violently beat.

As photographers we look at nudity as a form of art, just like portraiture or landscapes, not pornography. There's ... really nothing sexual about these photographs.

Keep your flags to yourself.

quite frankly I wasn't impressed with either. The chick tried to use nudity in most of her images for cheap impact value and the dudes images were not very original ...been there , already seen that.
