I think it was this year that Plishka came into the opera bar in San Francisco where my wife sang and sang this aria. He was real good but the pianist wasn't. Plishka had to beat time to get him to play it right.
@Timurunfili By that I assume you mean, he pushes out with his epigastrium when breathing in and pushes out on it, (and pushes lower into his stomach areas as well) when he exhales and sings. Is that secret?

IF You can see how his diaphram works while the hands tied..its a top secret technique which the opera singers dont tell..
