lmao i love these comments. Take a course on this stuff and then you'll see why and how they figure this dude is a relative. and it isnt because "they feel like it"
I'm NOT even a Christian by any means, and I still know how ridiculous this Darwinian trash truly is. If you afro-centrics trying to prove that all of humanity came swinging from African jungle trees, are now resorting to such desperate measures as using Lemur remains, then you are truly more pathetic than I gave you credit for. By the way, if the human mind evolved, then why did Minoans and others flush toilets in 2500 BC, and you Darwinists still ran to outhouses less than 100 years ago ?
@EducatedRebellion101 : 2500 years is peanuts in evolutionary terms. Also, Minoans did not know squat about chemistry, theories of evolutions, physics, calculus, engineering, etc..etc..... the list goes on for ever, and should include human products such a (higher) morality, law, music and the arts ;-) . Not a good point.
@bersa888 funny how you say they did not know nothing about calculus , engeniring and physics and yet they built megaliths that stand to this day, ancients from early egypt and its found all over the world....you say higher morality? - what is higher morality but whatever your society at the moment deludes itself to be
@Cardan011 : They did NOT know about calculus, which was first used in the XVII Cent.. Morality is what I believe is the best way of dealing with other people, life and the curve balls this may throw at you. Morality has been evolving since we started walking erect. There's no mystery, no absolute morality. Just us and our great but still limited brain ;-)

its kinda fuuny that evertime a primate like fossil is found a new theory pops up..it must be a missing link between ape s n human..lets face it there is no proofs that we evolve from anything.....ther s no proofs that evolution even exist
@hn1983 what is it dat i comment that i should takke my head out of my assss?..u think about it....its the truth..people found a tooth or a jaw bone and the whole scientific community jump on the bandwagon..sayin it must be our ancestor..why? u may ask...bcuz that s wat they wnt to believe and any thing that will support the theory of evolution they will present and anything that doesnt ...you will not hear about it...
@ansane That's utter bullshit you're feeding into. They only televise those which are related to us, that does in no way mean that their arent tons and tons of not so much related to us fossils. If you'd take your head out of your ass like the other guy said then you'd be able to see the world
@ansane that is not true. we have certain proof of micro evolution. Bacteria becoming resistant to anti-biotics is an example and there is many more. I just cannot understand how religious fundamentalists spout off how evolution is a lie while there is NO PROOF of creationism outside of a few thousand old text.
"In this kind of instance, the information to resist the antibiotic was already there in the bacterial population—it did not arise by itself, or in response to the antibiotic. That some germs were already resistant to man-made antibiotics before these were invented is common knowledge to microbiologists." 1

So let me get this straight, are they trying to prove that our ancestors are Monkeys, and a lemur could be a missing link to that answer, well first of all i dont want anyone and no one does to have someone say that my great grandfather was a monkey, and even if you evolved from them , how come we cant communicate by speech and what about Adam and Eve?!, I really agree that they are educated idiots.
What a big bunch of really stupid educated idiots!! It's a lemur fossil and that's it. Wow! look at her four legs and no arms. Man you dummies really need to wake up and think about what you're doing.
"Primate fossil 'NOT an ancestor'" (BBC, October, 21 2009)
"Dr Erik Seiffert says that Ida belonged to a group more closely linked to lemurs than to monkeys, apes or us... [Dr Seiffert continues] "They are more closely related to lemurs and lorises than they are to tarsirs or monkeys, apes and humans. This study would effectively REMOVE Ida from our ancestry."
Its an extraordinarily complete, wonderful specimen, but its not telling us too much that we didnt know before, says paleoanthropologist Elwyn Simons of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
lmfao its jus a fossil, no evidence what so ever that humans are linked to it, there are so many different animals in this world, you could find many links. Evolution is a load of bulshit to try and destroy religion.
Actually, you dont know what you are talking about. The only ones trying to stop people from 'free thinking' is atheists like you who abuse anyone who has any religious conviction at all.
You prove my point exactly. Now a rational thinking believer in God cannot point out a 'truth' now without being accused of playing the persecution card!
You just want to win every argument dont you even at the cost of sounding even more Marxist than before.
In your world, alternative views to yours are disallowed.
That's not true. I have a lot of Christian friends and my entire family is as well. I can totally respect views that differ from my own. But let's be honest here... Christianity is the dominant religion and is in no way threatened. But when we merely ask that our tax dollars not be used to enforce prayer in school or erect religious monuments on public ground, Christians start saying we're trying to persecute them.
I've been persecuted, disowned, divorcedm any physically beaten for my differing beliefs. But I don't run around like "oh, they're trying to destroy atheism" even though that's exactly what Christians want to do. We just want our rights respected and to not have your dogma rammed down our throats incessantly. When's the last time an atheist rang your bell at 7 Am on a Saturday?
Listen, they teach evolution in Schools in America and Europe, even though it is against Biblical teaching and is a complete lie. (In my opinion) They teach evolution more than they teach the Bible - in the school systems. So, dominant? Christians are very far from dominant.
Incidentally, I'm not into ringing strangers door bells.
All modern freethinking capitalist societies have their foundations in Christianity so as Tax dollars go - I think Christianity has some rights.
Evolution is far more scientifically sound than "god made us out of dirt". And Schools have TONS of Christian organizations like FCA and such. If an Atheist club formed at school, they wopuld be targeted. Your logic is fundamentally flawed.
"Evolution is far more scientifically sound than "god made us out of dirt". "
Actually, evolution has no answers whatsoever.
The science that supports the Bible is available but atheists ignore it because it means they'd not only have to re-evaluate their science, but they'd have to re-evaluate their lives.
@Lordluigibro Yes,let's dissent from religion, the religion of evo. There is 0 evidence Ida produced any progeny significantly different from herself. Just faith. 0 evidence her conveniently invisible offspring produced anything that led to us. 0 evidence that "missing links" aren't never existed links. Just faith. 0 evidence for the primal pond found in children's library books about evo. Just faith. 0 evidence that scales turned into feathers or fish teeth. Just faith.
@Lordluigibro Cont. Real science says you need something observable to make a scientific claim - like Ida's offspring being significantly different from her, like any evidence that life can come from inorganic matter (true science, the LAW of biogenesis, says it doesn't), like something besides millions & tons of fossils showing only 100% scales, feathers, teeth etc. etc. etc. & nothing in between. Evolution is built on dataless speculation presented as fact, i.e. faith. That's religion.
samson i do not to meen be rude, but are you a moron? you may be beleive what you wish but why comment on an amazing piece of information? this is proposing no scrutiny to the bible yet you find it nescessary to argue, why? keep it to yourself you twat,
its not the missing link, its just another silly attempt to prove themselves right in this stupid theory. they have lied and cheated so many times about how the world started, how man came to be. Give up guys, admit you are wrong and find the truth in the bible.
Lucy, Andy and now Ida...their remains will forever be part of our long haunt for our ancestors..
