if its just a drag then suspension wont help. but if youre out in the desert/woods doing laps suspension. for drag take the air box lid off, throw a full system on it, get a powercommand on it and also check the clearance of the valves

The best thing you can do is find a riding club in your area or some buds with different quads and ride as many as you can.when I started out I was convinced I wanted a 4x4, but as soon as I sat on a buddies trx400 I knew I wanted to go with a sport quad.I own both a kfx400 & a kfx700.Both of them are awsome quads,but the 400 wears me out alot quicker,and the 700 is like a big cadillac.Good Luck!
