like i said itachi didnt try to hurt when they fought he didnt try to avoid his moves he actually helped sasuke by achieving his mangekyou sharingan and giving his technique then mandara told him the story about what happen after sasuke won and then pretty much he went to akatsuki and then Naruto is learn his sage move and vs pein but so far he got caught and naruto is captured by pein and so yeah

It started like this Tobi A.K.A Mandara uchiha if u didnt know told itachi that he had to do a mission for him and if he didnt do it he will kill him along with the clan so he told Itachi to kill the whole clan but itachi had a request not to kill Sasuke so Itachi thought it threw and made sasuke believe he actually hate sasuke so he gets stronger so Sasuke thought tht all along then Sasuke fought itachi later in the story and itachi use his strongest justu but tried not to kill sasuke

why would orochimaru be the closed one to sasuke? he only went to him for power and then killed/absorbed him when orochimaru tried to use him for the imortal jutsu. that just gave him more power, which still wasnt enoughf to kill itachi untill itachi let him win which was as planned so sasuke could kill mandara. man thats a lot of stuff! ALSO

itachi was the closest to sasuke because that story mandara told made him s/mad and now hes going to destroy the leaf in revenge.

That's the point of the story.. If Naruto didn't have the fox he would have grown up like a normal kid, he wouldn't have his erdge to be noticed, he would be a normal ninja. I personally think the story is boring now that he tries to control it, but once he becomes sage I reckon we might see a bit more of it, don't forget, Naruto's Dad was Jiraiyas friend, Naruto would have the training with or without the fox, just not as efficiant.Naruto will be strong, but they want to milk the story line.

Hmmm, well, especially in shippuden, he kinda strikes me as pathetic, instead of taking the noble path to strength by training etc, he goes and joins orochimaru, betrays his friends and village etc....and a whole list of other things that would take up the entire comment :P

Yeah, it's cool, but I found out y he did it all. I just used hints of my own from what the manga has given. Sasuke already did enough of the training that he even needed to do. Kakashi has given him that. If you've noticed, all of his jutsu are katon and chidori. He joins Orochimaru becuz he seems 2 be the only 1 who could get close enough 2 kill the guy, which happened though not 4 long. He betrays the village becuz dey always got in the way, so he decided to go on his own 2 finish the job.

don't forget! itachi had a disease that was eating at him. It was all planned out. Sasuke was supposed to gain mangekyo from killing a closet person to him. Itachi let him self die that time so that sasuke could gain it, that's how he uses amaretsu when madara comes in to talk to him.

Orochimaru wasn't the closest person to Sasuke.. Ever.. Sasuke looked down on Orochimaru, thought he was a fool. According to the story line we have, Itachi gave Sasuke the power of Amterasu. Sasuke doesn't have the Mangekyo Sharingan, I don't know about any more, but if he had have killed Naruto in original, he would have Mangekyo, as far as we know, Naruto is still teh closest person to Sasuke, maybe if he was told the truth before he killed Itachi, maybe a different story.

Itachi doesn't need anything. Itachi was ordered to kill the Uchiha before they rebelled against the village. But he couldn't kill Sasuke, he gave him a figure to hate so he would become strong, Itachi fought with everything he had so that he knew Sasuke would be able to defend himself if Itachi were to die.

NO, the chakra lvls of itach can extremely defeath those of the chidori. The chidori later in the manga becomes obsolete. Sasuke needed the help of orochimaru, to both surpass naruto (the noob who was handed all his chkra on a silver plater) and to defeat Itachi. Let me remind you that Orochimaru himself admits that Itachi could easily kill him. This means that even one of the 3 Sanin is inferior to Itachi, and Yamato an AnBu Blackop admits Orochimaru by far surpases him. Chidori doesnt cut it

This leads to my explanation that Itachi is technically stronger than sasuke, as Sasuke after killing orochimaru admits, had Orochimaru been @ full strength he would have been defeated. This means that Sasuke is by far and large the number 3 ninja, since Itachi himself is trained by Mandara Uchiha, who was noted as being in a three man squadrent with the 1st and 2nd. Mandara Uchiha was also able to fight on par with the first hokage for prolonged periods of time. for beginning see below post

Yeah, I noticed that as well during their fights. Out of the Uchihas that are living at the moment, the order of strength will still be Madara, Itachi, then Sasuke. Madara, at the moment is just toying around with everyone with that teleporting thing. Itachi, he was not technically killed by Sasuke. He was killed by lack of chakra and full exhaustion of using Mangekyou's 3 jutsus over and over. Sasuke, he has proven that he uses Chidori for his own styles. It's not used like he use to use it.
