1. I turn off my phone after getting the yardage and turn it back on 20-30 seconds while approaching my ball. I use less than 20% of my battery per round.
2. Put the phone in your pocket! No clip needed.
3. when it rains I put my iPhone in a ziplock bag. The touchscreen works through the bag. I have had this app and iPhone for 1 1/2 years and have never have had a problem.
