When a singer sings alone he makes notes longer and shorter givin it his own signature, when a people sing in a duet they complement each other and have a sort of a dialogue even when singing at the same time.

If one is recorded and the other sings with that recording it is still posibble to make it sound natural(i.e. Nat King Cole and Daughter). But if both are prior recordings it is very hard to make it sound natural.

Well, when you're dying from AIDS, I think you'll face more hardships; as opposed to a broken relationship with a women. I mean, that's just my opinion. Mercury had the same, if not more pain to sing this song in which Brian wrote.

Just because Brian wrote it, doesn't mean it didn't resonate with Freddie, and he was always a very expressive singer. Many times I've listened to other music written about situations in the writer's life, but I can find it applicable to my life, and that doesn't detract from what the singer intended.
