I am Organist in a Litle Chappel, but i don´t know music. I play organ by musical hearing. I would like you send me, what chord are in Salve regina. Only List of chords that take part in Save Regina Thanks and Regards Josu ( From Basque Country)
I am positive it would be in a book of organ music called "Saint Gregory" or "Saint Basil." I have a copy of "Saint Gregory" that I purchased off ebay (my other copies were stolen). I'm not familiar with this particular rendition. Let me look it up and get back to you. Oh, it's definitely not a dumb question! God bless!
This rendition is the common one, I think you maybe saying that because you are used to the salve Regina of the Dominicans, the salve regina I always here, WHEN I HEAR IT IN MASS, which is never , lol but any way, this is the common one, lol
@moocowmooyoumoo Stolen? LOL who would use them apart from Catholics, and if they stole them then I am sure God might slam the cover on their fingers whilst they're playing, lol
@mindbodylightsound10 Hi, I did find a copy of this hymn. I've never played the arrangement as I played from the gregorian notation. Please let me know if you would like a copy.
Ladies & Gentlemen, Please be known that the Most Important Person for our Salvation is our Beloved Lady Mary Immaculate Conception. She is our Eternal First Lady, Whom our Belove Heavenly Father has created and assigned to be our Beloved Mom. You know Eva is our Maculate mom. If you still continue to have her as mom, you will be Maculate one. That prevents you to be our Beloved Heavenly Father's Immaculate child. Please change your course now, you will find your Salvation so incredibly easily
I must disagree with you. The most important Person for our salvation is Jesus Christ, Our Lord. I love Mother Mary very much and honor her with the utmost respect, but Jesus is the the way to salvation. Mary intercedes for her dear children, us. God bless.
Of course you may say what your are convinced of, but be aware of the fact that nothing from your opinion will remove the greatness of our wonderful Lady. She is the mother of our Lord and God Jesus-Christ. So, I suggest you keep your judgements with you next time and let those who feel they are sons and daughters of the holy virgin mother of God find their satisfaction through this wonderful son. May God bless you and fill you with his peace!!!
And I Suggest you read Catholic theology before you open your key-pad and look stupid-which you above statement is stupid non theological based and all emotional. No one was knocking the BVM! May God bless you with a brain!
O goedertieren, liefdevolle, zoete Maagd Maria.
O clemens, O pia, O dulcis Virgo Maria
What a lovely rendition of a timelessly beautiful hymn to our Blessed Mother! As the sounds of the organ resonate throughout the church, my heart fills with gladness as I think of the unconditional love of Mary, the Mother of God, and the Mother of us all! May she lead all souls to Heaven, to enjoy forever the loveliness of her presence, and the presence of her Divine Son! May Christ's peace be with you!
Thank you for posting this, it's one of my favourite Marian hymns. It reveals the deep love Mary has for her children and the love and reverence her children have for her--you can actually feel that love when listening to it. Pax tecum =)
Yes, 1978, 17 ranks. This organ replaces a 35 stop, 3 manual Casavant. The church had a fire in 1976 and building and organ demolished. This is the new building
lovely. such a fantastic prayer and you put in some nice first inversions too which always works so well in plainsong accompaniment for the uplifting feel!!
Hi im from Philippines... asia's largest christion/catholic nation...
our school (catholic) wants us to memorize the song.... we dont even know how to speak latin... not even close.... and also plus the Pater Noster (our father latin)...

As beautiful as the organ sounds I feel that its missing its power without the Latin verses.

I like music like this. It's so simple and comforting, not too showy or anything like that. Would that there were more videos like this on youtube...

Ice you are correct. The emphsis on Mary is older and not correct theology. Thanks for clarifying
