  • its very good, but its no levan polka is it

  • I know her in reality <3 she is really funny and stuff xd Soetkin,i love you groetjes Selina van Olvp Middelbare school van woensdag 03/05/'11 x

  • no matter what...she sure is pretty!

  • what language is this?

  • @bombila68 No language at all. The lyrcs is specialwritten for this song.

  • sounds like mix of Ukrainian, Irish, Lithuanian, Welsh or something like this.

  • @bombila68 Basically, it is jibberish, made up, although there are thought to be some similarities to Ukrainian. Apparently, I read that the first line is completley understandable by Ukrainians.

  • i love this song....and i love eurovision, because there are always good songs :)

  • This is a bad song!!

There are many better singers than she in belgium! , , (english)

I love ya Soetkin x

  • comon hw u want belgium win with "singer" like that??

    thats a big shit !

    unfortunatly for our country ...

  • man man man, die Soetkin zou ik nog niet willen neuken als mijn leven ervan af zou hangen.

  • ik ook

  • great performance

  • i dont like the eurovision, never have, probably never will....this song is really good though, and the lead singer is gorgeous!!greetings from ireland xxxx

  • my favorites are greece switzerland norway and san marino (but they didnt move to the funals :()

  • norway did! :=D

  • i was talking about san marino...i know norway did :)

  • oki :=) vote for norway ;=P

  • be sure i will :)

good luck for all the countries in the final tonighttt:)))

    go israelll :P

  • Greetings from Latvia !!!

that's song is awesome. too bad that it didn't get to da final :( if being honest I started to dislike eurovision , because really great songs never win :( and countries with many boarders and neihbours won almost all the time. arrrrr

  • it's a shame serbia could not vote tonight, belgium would get many votes from me! song is great and as someone already said it puts a smile on every face... I am really sorry it did not make it! don't get too disappointed, sometimes good songs don't get through. I know that belgium loves eurovision, so don't lose faith and don't turn against it!

song and the girls are great. they look very positive and outgoing. shame. but just play it again and it will make you forget this and smile!

  • i'm from belgium and i hope we don't even go to eurovision, kate ryan, xandee and ishtar srr it's to mutch eurovision is only show not sining that's a pity

  • I really LIKE it...Hope it qualifies at least..The truth is their song reminds me of some songs i listened as a kid :->>

  • It got suck in my head. O julisi na hilini, o julisi na ilini la la la laaaaaaa.

    Ciao!

  • I got her autograph. She is in hotel M in Belgrade. I even know from my aunt which fixed her dress what room, but that's pretty private.

  • She is so cute and adorable, just like the song. It makes me in a good mood every time I hear it. She also seems, to me, like the girl with most charisma, natural and with a bubbly personality of the girls this year. I hope this song does well, though I slightly worry about the vocal performance live. It's my favorite song this year!

  • Oh... You are so right...

  • Hmh. You look at her face and think "oh, she's kinda cute" but then she opens her mouth and it's like WOAH! I mean don't get me wrong, I like her voice and respect the song choise (even though I'm not a fan of this kind of music) but it caught me off guard because her voice is pretty deep and mature but she looks so young and sweet. I hope you know what I mean :D

  • What in the hell!

They've got a snake coming out of nowhere aswell!

    Freaky people..

  • Good harmony.

  • Each time and everwhere I hear this song , I become cheerful !! Thank you Ishtar

  • I understand nothing - but "tres Charmant"

    Greetings from Hamburg/GER

    *Mick*

  • She looks like she can suck an egg out of a chicken .

  • ...never mind the chicken...Lol!

  • Cute Voice

  • Any1 knows where they sing about because the sound is pretty cool only i cant understand it.

  • Well, it means 'give up', but I don't know whawt it means as well, because it's been sung in an imaginary language they made of their own.

  • Yeah, in Belgium we have a tendency to make things up. Our politicians do it all the time.

  • :)!

  • Ishtar? That's an Iraqi girl name after the ancient Mesopotamian God of Love which was worshipped their before Islam and Christianity.

Just curious, is she decended from Iraq or something? Thanks.

  • ishtar is the band, the girl is called something like Soeptkin Baptist, I guess, Flemish ethnics you see. How cool is this song!!!

  • Thanks my friend, I understand now. The song is awsome, I never knew I'll like any non-rap song hahaha.

    Take Care.

  • She's hot

  • Why do I get a negative for saying she's hot?

  • Every one has his chances and what ever the style...

  • pff we hadden beter die zwarte met zen ballad gestuurd

  • lol..

  • seriously WTF

  • WTH?! you are a bit retarded ...

  • Yea right, and the Americans are holy angels ! Muhahaha

  • lmao what da fuck was dat ?!

    no disrespect tho

  • yeah sure. well you are the one that controls your mouse right?

  • More the keyboard but yeah

i was just wonderin cuz itz for the eurovision and itz a "untypical" kinda music for that...

Crazy that they actually won lol

  • wow - not my kinda music - but great

  • Vreselijk!

  • If she would sing in a real language it would be good.

  • well last time belgian went to eurosong with a non existing language song, we scored quite high ^^

    still i don't like o julissi

  • yea but in the beginning of eurosong, songs could only be song in existing languages. So that's why i think its not good :D

  • In 2003 we came 2nd with a song with an imaginary language.

And I loved that song (Urban Trad - Sanomi).

This I didn't found that good, but after a while it gets stuck in your head.

but they won't win or get in the top 10 i know that for sure.

  • Yeah cause if she sings in Dutch all of Europe would hear the differance? Riiight ¬¬

And since when did it become a rule to sing in a real language i wonder?

I've heard all of the countries, and by jove there are so many of them that insist on butchering English to the point it could very well be a made up language aswel.

(I have to say, Diana Gurtskaya for Georgia who happily yells 'Send it out the piss ("peace") will come' has to be my favorite one for now, with all due respect to the song)

  • It became a rule since the start of eurosong, but now the rule has been cancelled. I hate the song

  • I do remember a polish song from a few years back, where the lady sang happily 'in my ass' while she really meant 'in my eyes'

and the blond women from ukrain a few years ago: 'I need your mother here' instead of 'I need you more than air'

I totally agree with that butchering of English :)

  • shes sweet xD

  • I think, Ishtar wins the contest !! Congratulation :)

  • i think so to , they are great

  • Singing princess :) nice

  • classic!!

  • They should do a Latvia 2006 and perform it without a backing track. This sounds better! Classic style Eurovision!

  • I couldent care less about the Eurovision bloody song contest, If other people get something out of it fine. However if Doctor Who gets pre-empted for it again this year I am going to go ape shit with a blunderbus at television centre.

  • this freaks are not stars music....remeber are.....

  • very nice

  • Love the song...

  • All the songs of the competition are on YouTube, I don't see how this would be an unfair advantage... There are groups that do a complete European promo tour, trying to become known, Ishtar doesn't.

  • PERFECT , VERY NICE

  • wow, they can really perform live!

  • great voice these 2 girls are talented!

  • I loved the song until I found out they were singing in a 'load of nonsense' made-up language. It's not in the spirit to enter a song contest with random sounds. Pity because they perform it so well.

  • Mmmm ratamahatta... lets just say I clicked this by mistake (it was a promoted video)

  • Belgium scored second place a few years ago, the year when Turkey won.

Then they had a similar thing, it was also sung in a made up language. The song was Sanomi by Urban Trad

  • Would it have made a difference for you if they would have sung it in Dutch. To you, it sounds completly the same.

  • For me, it's more to do with the effort required to compose a song within the framework of a recognised language structure. Winning 'within the rules of language' - so to speak.

  • Great song!!

  • xD what language is that? sounds funny ;)

  • it's made up

  • aha....so i dont have to worry about the text xD

  • Love them! Good luck Ishtar!

  • I love this song and she's so adorable, smiling all the time... Oh, and the song is fantastic, too!

  • sorry, I repeated myself ;) It seems I'm saying everything twice, everything twice :D

  • You know that was great! I hope Ishtar wins but knowing the Eastern bloc countries....

  • So when is Euro 2008? LOL!!

  • 20,22,24th of may

  • Cheers! I'm probably going to give the best vote to that Irish chicken though, LOL!!
