Jackie Chan is my childhood hero. He's always been the best in the industry, shame Hollywood weren't smart enuf to use him in the early yrs when he was doin his Hong Kong movies, he wud have destroyed everyone, and he's still amazing now. Love Jackie Chan

Actually, there was an attempt to cross Jackie Chan over in the early '80s. He was in *The Big Brawl*, *Cannonball Run* I & II, and *The Protector*. Maybe they weren't good enough movies, but nobody could say that a serious attempt wasn't made. He also had an uncredited bit part in *Enter the Dragon*.
Now Jackie Chan is one of the toughest people in the movie business, so that must have been a lot of man-power required to abduct him, and then force him to star in a Woolworths advert! I don't believ he did it for money.
