  • Think about it this way, Marian is not a singer, although she can sing. But as an artist she needs to entertain people, like what she does all the time. Dancing, Acting, and Singing. And it's not about how she sang the song, it's about the message of it. This number was intended to say to those who hate her that no matter what they do they cant bring her down.
