Is he saying a gibson style is better then fender? Different, Strats are softer, single coil longer 25.5 scale (gibsons 24.75 neck scale) the picking is different, maybe not much the shorters strings more tense. humbuckers more power (then standard pikups) apples and oranges,,
@Hero774 well i guess it depends on what kind of music you play and what sound you like. if you like to be able to switch from a raw sound to a more bassier sound than that might help you in choosing. of course your comment was from a year ago so im assuming you have already chosen an electric guitar a long time ago.
