This is from the network's 1968-'69 fall preview special, sent to local affiliates for scheduling at their own discretion at least a week before the season began, on September 23rd. It was also designed to be shown in individual segments for the affiliates to promote each series, wherever there was "space" on their schedule, day or night. The late Art Gilmore is announcing [he was the voice behind most of CBS' filmed promos at the time]. "THE GOOD GUYS" pilot was videotaped {"kinnied" here}.

I can't watch any sitcom today, network or premium-channel; they're all too smart for they're own good. Back then, TV was just plain fun. The last great stuff on TV was Garry Shandling's stuff.
