  • david i know your still out there...omg...look where it is now

  • I remember Paul's basement. Man, the pot the beers and this song. I still love it.

  • who does not like this > ? crazies

  • Wearing an eyepatch over his one good eye... how'd that work out?

  • Kiitos David Bowie ( Thanks) I like that:) ! Very good song, ensimmäinen albumi jonka omistin ja se alkoi tästä kappaleesta♥

  • met David twice, superb man, soooo funny,a real joker...saw him in full concert since Diamond Dogs,Toronto,Canada, that was a matinee show and an eve show, and the rest is 28 concerts later...

    All best to ya all,

    G

  • First time i heard this was on a school trip to Hamburg in 1975, we sneaked off with this cool german teacher who took us to a great little club where his girlfriend worked, 16 years of age, Ciggys, Beer, Bowie, and girls with no bras on, Bliss..............

  • i love this song. is so rock n roll.so genocide LOL

  • I really like this song! Beck's version of this song is great too. I love the song either way

  • Every time Bowie speaks, a man is cured of impotence and a woman orgasms.

  • @BZSheik ta remarque est tres pertinente et humoristique super david est le plus sexy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @BZSheik

    that's poetry, man - exquiste

    Bowie himself should see it

  • It's almost eerie, how "normal" Bowie looks nowadays . . . at least, normal by today's expectations.

  • Genious.

  • is there a studio version of this that exists?

  • @fromthenorthwest

This is the studio version, the crowd noise was added later.

  • ah Bowie, you are such an excellent pseudo-human

  • david bowie.....theres not much you can say but....shit. david fuckin bowie!

  • Lady Gaga, Madonna owe Bowie a big vote of thanks, its obvious they've stolen a lot of their ideas from him. They owe their careers to him. Too bad they only have 10% of his musical ability. Gaga & Madonna are all style and no substance. Bowie has both style and substance going for him ....

  • @marcellisrobinson

Actually, it's called "inspiration". Don't say shit about Gaga or Madonna, they both have talent.

  • @JungleJesx

    No they don't.

  • @marcellisrobinson ...how about . 0005 percent?

  • David is a uneque freak got to love his style...

  • oh my - the "stuff" he did!! - thanks for this - (my own vinyl´s are some where in storage)

  • Bowie just kicks ass. Michael Jackson gets a lot of credit as the King of Pop, and deservingly so. But I think David Bowie doesn't get enough credit in that regard. Just look at his work over the last forty years; it is diverse, creative, popular and it stands the test of time. He is one of pop music's greatest stars.

  • love the pic @ 0:10

  • bo bowie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

  • This man has the big charisma

  • Nice! Real rock artist are still alive? Simply amazing,

  • @FranklyMsShankley No! Shit I just meant fuckin gaga and bullshit!! Arctic Monkeys and Modest Mouse are two of my favourite bands. I just prefer that generation of music.

  • Cool wishes it could be David Bowie!!

  • I hate when these stupid kids call Bowie Gay. They don't get it. He was amazing during this period. Bowie live from the tower theater was awesome(If you can find it)

  • damn diamond dogs the song and the entire album are such masterpieces

  • Woof woof! Bow wow!

    Hahahah!

  • Lol wow he looks way too cool !

  • They should be playing Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Steely Dan, The Kinks, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, The Velvet Underground all the greats on the radio not Lady Gaga (a bowie wannabe btw) and all this f*cking Jedward. Jonas Brothers sh*t!!! And I'm 14 I'll be 15 in september and I know very few people who like this music. But a true rock n' roll song hasn't come out in two decades it's all been either Pop, Rap or Punk Rock.

  • here comes the honky tonk. greatest song ever written.

  • Bowie , one of THE coolest dudes on the planet !!

  • scary monsters and super creeps

  • the time he was writing about in his songs as arrived.....UK 2010

  • ther was song writers and then there was david bowie a class all in his own

  • I remember buying this album when it came out and people were pretty much horrified when i opened the jacket to see bowies diamond dog- i think the only other time anything even close to the same reaction was when i was 1st in line to buy Never mind the Bollcks Funny how shit changes/stays the same

  • i always change around what record i like the best atm i think scary monsters and super creeps are my favorite ...... its no game is so insane good !

  • "As they pulled you out of the oxygen tent/

You asked for the latest party..." If you're a budding songwriter today, do you read that and get inspired or just give up and work security?! Fucking brilliant writer, that David.

  • YOU ROCK DAVID

  • Bowie.

  • 'Diamond Dogs' ... Another of David's 'perfect' albums ... second only to 'The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars' on my all time list.

  • Indeed.

  • not forgetitng Aladin Sane

  • I went to all the Bowie concerts in Montreal and a couple in Ottawa, during his Diamond Dogs era.. wore zig zag glitter on my face, got put on TV, got backstage - didn;t get to meet him - alas! but met "the band". Very cool times.

  • 0:22 haha best picture ever!

  • SO RIGHT! He looks like an unhappy little kid

  • Agreed.

  • i once had a haircut similar to Bowie in Labyrinth. It was the layering...the hair stylist really messed it up, but I enjoyed it for a while.

  • Really? I knew that people had big hair back then, but I didn't know that actual people had hair like that.

I mean it was just so...poofy, you know?

  • "With your silicone humpin"

  • My personal favorite Bowie album...great music for your thirsty earholes! :-)

  • I hear ya! Saw Bowie at least 5 times in the day - in Montreal - every concert was SO excellent. Saw him through all his transitions, and his music remained excellent from the beginning to the last

  • was the photo with his mum?

  • his best album , equelled only by hunky dory and ziggy ! his voice is more awesome than ever on DD.

  • A TRUE artist who was a genius when it came to entertaining. I'm so glad I had a chance to grow up listening to DB. Unlike today...no originality!

  • Tell me about it, my parents love Bowie, woot! So I got to listen to him during my teens. :D So glad I did, Led Zeppelin and The beatles etc. are epic.

  • but in fairness thats why there is no originality...cos this guy and others were the influence everyone tries to live up to!

  • never thought about it like that.that is a very profound statement my friend.i will ponder on that for some time to come.

  • Very sweet song! I love it :)

  • excellent work!!

  • come, been and gone

  • bow wow woof woof

  • robbie is now in second place for fantasies david is the 1

  • I just love 4:33

  • This might be a stretch, but did Halloween Jack here play any part in Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas?

  • 4:21 who is the person behind DB?....

    Great pics

  • when I was 10 my brother often played this awesome Bowie track from the "changesonebowie" LP track. Now I'm 41 and it still belongs for me to one of the best rock tracks the 70s ever had. It makes me believe in one thing: Rock'n'Roll will never die! Thanks David! And thanks to you ferae11 for postin' this awesome David song!! 5 stars to you from germany.... keep on rockin' man!!!

  • Yes thank you whoever you are

  • David played guitar on this song, as a kid 14 when I bought this at k mart for 4.99 it changed my life! Its so Orwellian! I never heard anything like it in 1974 I wore it out and tossed the boring old blues records I had and changed my hair and wore makeup-bitchen!

  • Hi, I'm not doubting you but just out of interest, in what way do you think its Orwellian?

  • Diamond Dogs was a concept album based on a dystopian future and includes songs like '1984' and 'Big Brother" (amazing track, that). Bowie wanted to create a stage adaptation of Orwell's '1984', but couldn't get the rights.

  • Is Future Legend in that album? I think it was... I have the LP, anyway thats dystopian - and awesome!!!

  • ugh...lord......david bowie is the most talented , sexiest man to ever exist...thank you for posting this

  • @SpitfireSuicide13 I completely agree!!

  • awesome.

  • at 3:00...that howl! - go David :)

  • superb!

  • happy birthday david bowie

  • Unfucking believable. The older I get, the more incredible this guy is.

And there are very few people i'm interested in seeing that many pictures of. He's one.

    VERY nice work.

  • I agree with you, I might just add;

"the wonders of a workable full head of hair."

  • Diamond Dogs was easily one of Bowies best Eras. Earl Slick makes it happen on guitars- v cool.

  • Ah yes ..Earl Slick, couldn't agree more!

  • I remember when Bowie ditched the Ziggy persona and started wearing the 40s style suits. I always thought he had the look of a female cross-dresser. Ha ha. It was ironically weird. Love the Brown Sugar style saxes on this one.

  • Dave Bowie the best!

  • season of the bitch

    sure is!

Bowie rocks now tomorrow and forever!

  • Damn straight!

  • One of my fave Bowie songs and a Beautiful montage!!!!!.10 stars at least!!**********

  • I was just sitting here thinking of some old songs and this one popped in my head as an old fav, bowie is one of a kind and did whatever he wanted and was accepted for it

  • excellent work!!

  • Boy, it's a sweet thing! Love on Ya!!

  • Interesting to read the comments enjoy the tunes

  • Possibly the only man to suit make up more than facial hair.

  • Yes he is, but in a really really awesome way

  • David is the most non-threatening man in history.

  • Thank you for the great montage of pics that you gave us!! Life long Bowie fan and most appreciative!

  • sweet song bowie is the best

  • Good choice on the song. Love that one. Very Stones-ish. Great job on the montage as well.

  • My gosh, I don't even remember posting that! I still agree, though. Anyway, is it just my very tired brain, or do I hear a metronome in the background?

  • Cowbell, actually.

    SNL is disapointed in you.

  • Dit is goeie muziek man,in de jaren 80 en nu nog steeds geweldig!Young girls..they called them the Diamond Dogs!

  • Many Thanx for this fantastic montage of some Great times,X.
