  • First off, anyone who tries this has a decent amount of courage, good on "Dougie".

    The person in this video rarely does a correct burpee if the standard of the movement is judged as both thighs and chest/stomach touching the ground. His shirt touches almost every rep, but anyone with an eye can tell his torso does not. Some might also argue that proper burpees require a "hands together" motion and full hip extension while the feet are in the air.

  • atvkid1090 - nice work! glad to see there are others out there to give it a go. I'll agree not easy by any means to stay 100% true to form.

  • While dallasjock IS correct...trying to do 500 in under an hour is an extremely difficult task even without 100% correct form. I'm a varsity rower and I did it in an hour and 10 minutes, and I had particularly bad form. I'm still sore and I did it 4 days ago.

  • burpee jump should be done w explosive power , not a mere partial weak hop;

  • Its tough to be explosive when you are doing a burpee every 6 seconds for 50 minutes. put your money where your mouth is and beat Dougie's time...
