The song played here is actually "Alanson, Crooked River" by Sufjan Stevens unless I'm mistaken. Lovely video. I got to watch this from the top of a mountain in the middle of nowhere and this brings back happy memories.
I used a Canon Rebel XTi and a Kenko Skymemo tracking mount modified for time lapse astrophotography. Each shot is a 30 second exposure, tracking the stars. The mount then resets to its starting position and a pan head advances a small amount. The process is repeated all evening.
at 0:57 a meteor burns up in the atmosphere at left center and you can see the smoke/dust cloud dissipate!
