  • What angle is is @secretmoongirl talking about and i live here

  • I love the 757-200 and the 757-300! To bad they're retired.:(

  • @TeamLeftmatch777 what? no there not...Continental stills numerous 757's and so does Delta, American, United and many other carriers

  • @96texan i meant they are not being made anymore

  • I love the 757-200 and the 757-300!

  • @ASEL737 I agree. Having lived in New Orleans for 13 years, I've flown out of MSY many times. I am currently in training for being a pilot for Delta Airlines. I want to fly a 757-300. When I was a kid, I used to love to see what the biggest planes were. It used to be British Airways flew 747s to MSY from Heathrow, but they stopped after Katrina. Nowadays, a 757 is a pretty big plane there. A lot of the aircraft are regional jets. And planes from FedEx bore me. Anyplace can have a MD-11.

  • that river is DIRTY even the hudson river in new york looks cleaner and its filthy.

  • Thats not the "biggest plane in NOLA". lol. I can assure you that cheapo Continental Airlines doesn't hold the biggest plane for MSY!

  • @jeremiah20092009 what are you talking about?

The 757-300 is by far the largest aircraft that visits MSY on a scheduled basis.

    Nice Try, You Fail.

  • not quite, FedEx regularly flies MD-11s in n out of msy

  • @yazzam FedEx is not a passenger airline. That is what I was referring to. Who cares about cargo honestly

  • who cares about military, who cares about private, who cares about business, who cares about cargo, who cares about aviation medical services, who cares about law enforcement, who cares about the airlines... Bro, not a good question to ask

  • Not a good question to ask if you take my question seriously. No shit cargo and everything else you mentioned is important, but it isn't as interesting to most people (aircraft spotters) as passenger airlines. Just about EVERY small to medium sized commercial service airport has widebody service from FedEx or UPS. There is nothing special about that.

Having a 757-300 (which are pretty rare in their own right) visit on a regular basis is much more interesting.

  • bud im sure there are plenty of people who would rather see a fedex md-11 then a CO 753

  • I live in New York City. I am a native New Orleanian. I was in New Orleans for Saints parade and Mardi Gras. I had a lot of fun. I cried when I landed I hadn't seen New Orleans in about 6 years. It is a beatiful city and I hope to see it rebuilt. When the plane landed everyone said Who Dat. I miss walking through the French Quarter and people in New Orleans will say good morning even if they don't know you.

  • jazzythegreatest- New Orleans is not "horrible". Chances are you probably vacationed there and didnt leave the French Qtr! Its my HOME and to me, San Fran is nothing but a filthy dump!

  • New Orleans is a HORRIBLE city. Go to San Francisco instead :)

  • haha how ws the screaming crying kid:p/?

  • my landing from Vegas was alot rougher, idk why??!?

  • BORING !!!!! I typed in scary landings...this is NOT...lol !!!

  • LOL.. Well I don't know what to say about that except there is something up with youtube. Cause there is nothing in my desc about this video that says anything is scary, thou that baby crying is annoying lol.

  • This video is so relaxing

  • last time i went there there was the angel, do they still have it there?

  • I'm sorry but i do not know of the angel you are talking about.

  • Wow, they could have flared at least a little more...

  • Flight from IAH? (Houston)

  • Yes

  • that looked a bit bumpy

  • love the views of I-10, especially the interchange with 310...Louisiana engineering at its best!

  • Nice video !!

  • I have been on some planes where the landing was so easy you couldn't notice the difference between air and land. They were very graceful.

  • i fly to new orleans about 2 times a year.. my dad lives in gretna on the westbank.

  • The flap looked abit rusty!

  • cool video, thanks for posting. Never been to NO, will have to do it sometime :) Looks interesting.

  • Nah its mostly Republicans now.....

  • Really, last time I checked it was 70% jigaboo. I know this because I live here.

  • If you don't like it, why not leave? Think about it...

  • where were you coming from?

  • Looks like coming from Houston straight into Runway 10.

  • I spot I-10!

  • could that kid cry any louder!

  • Comment removed

  • I love New Orleans, one of the coolest city in the US. Was the terminal alright? Much damage?

  • I believe there was some wind damage, but the extent of the floodwaters did not reach the area. The airport is to the west of the city in a neighboring parish

  • Nice video! My favorite approach to New Orleans is from the north, over Ponchartrain, and if you're sitting on the left you can see the causeway stretching forever! I was there last pre-katrina, and we landed in a 767! Don't think they have those serving MSY any longer...

  • For now, no. 757s have become a commonality once again because Delta and Continental have restarted the use of them with flights to/from Atlanta (Delta) and Houston (Continental). The airport has 80% of the traffic it did pre-Katrina, and it's growing rapidly, so I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing 767's in N.O. regularly in the coming years.

  • hmm, that 757 without winglets sure look wierd, nice video tho

  • I take this flight all the time. I just love the approach into New Orleans
