The second is that before teaching them rules you should teach them basics, maybe history of Islam, how the book was written, the geography of the region where it originated, maybe the simple cool facts inplanted in it (like number miracles). I really have an issue with Islamic schools in the west, one is that they use old school teachings and then calling it a sunnah. What i mean by old teachings is the memorization system withut the higher level thinking. The kids memorized the Fatiha and a lot of so called rules, but cannot answer why or how these rules were obtained. If there was an islamic school that focuses more on the philosophy behind these "rules" and teaches the kids to figuer out what is really a rule and what isn't, i

i think she is too young too wear the face veil. and you dont need to do ablution (washing) when reciting the Quran with out touching. u can recite anytime of the day. also the face veil is some scholars say optional even Dr zakir Naik. but i u want to wear it then by all mean wear ti, but learn about it first. also u r sooooooo cute. the mother is so supportive:)
