Really nice video. I have many fond memories of this park. My brother use to catch crayfish in the lake. I use to love to ride my bike on the paths. I also loved going to the skating rink.
This must have been a while ago. There are no fish any more. They've all been killed by pollution. They have recently been trying to restore the park, so far its a lot better that it has been in the past few years.
I rented rowboats on the lake and worked at the ice skating rink for years. I live out west now amidst incredible beauty, but I will never forget growing up in Warinanco Park.
That was outstanding! I grew up on East 5th Ave, less than a half mile from "the Park." I have countless memories of spending time there, playing or watching baseball, ice skating, playing hide 'n seek in the bushes, catching tadpoles in the streams, riding bikes in the woods, going to "the (now torn-down) Stadium."
I worked at the ice skating rink in Warinanco Park for many years. There were many happy memories there.

Thank you for sharing this. So much beauty "in our own backyard."
