  • You are such an awsome guy.

  • this is gorgous

  • @gabbygirl6969 Thanks!

  • Definitely my favorite one. I tried to do it myself... Haha, man, was THAT a disaster :) I've got cheap Oil Pastels so that's part of it, only part of it mind you ;) The other part is a serious lack in SKILL. I'm going to keep trying though. Thanks for your inspiring work!

  • @BlackWolfComics The higher quality oil pastels really do help. As far as the lack in skill, It just takes lots of practice. There was a point where I could hardly draw. i just kept on drawing because it was something fun to do.

  • this is sooo goood

  • This video tells me "You will never be able to draw like this >:D"

  • @NotSoGreatArtist lol dont feel down. Just need some practice!

  • So, actually, how much time have you taken to finich your artwork?

  • @Joecfh I would say around 2 hours

  • what kind of pastels are you using?

  • @Drawingz101 oil pastels

  • @TylersArtShack what is the difference from soft pastels

  • @Drawingz101 Very big difference. Oil pastels are wet and glide along the paper unlike pastels do since they are chalky. Oil pastels are very easy to blend like pastels but stay much brighter than pastels do. I prefer oil pastels to pastels but I still use pastels quite a bit. pastels are erasable while oil pastels are not. If you have any more questions just reply. Thanks for the comment.

  • @TylersArtShack what would you have to do if you messed up

  • @Drawingz101 I would say try and work it over. You can layer oil pastels rather well. But cheaper brands dont tend to do that very well. This is a bit tricky but with mine, i can take a butter knife and scrape off the oil pastel. It does leave color down on the page but you can easily work it over.

  • @TylersArtShack is ther a certain kind of paper to use

  • @Drawingz101 just so happens that this is paper made for acrylic paints. It is made by strathmore and has big lettering of acrylic on it. Its 185Ib paper. its thick stuff.

  • can you like make a tuturial for dis stuff or no?

  • if u do requestions do you want to make a desert landscape please

  • @skippman84 ill have to look around

  • @TylersArtShack is a pleasure for me if you do that

  • @skippman84 I already have a few ideas lined up. ill get around to it.

  • @TylersArtShack thank you very much is not only cool if u do that it is also helpful because i made a desert drawing but i want to see if there any mistakes in my drawing that's why i ask you to do it

  • What brands do you use? As soon as I have both Granite and charcol down im thinking of also using oil pastels.

  • @MrCannibalMan haha. Save up some money lol these are expensive. The brand name is Sennelier

  • @TylersArtShack I hope you wern't going to say that. That brand is insanely expensive. I looked them up before hand and wow... it'll just burn a hole right through your pocket.

  • @MrCannibalMan yeah, i only got them because they were on sale. But were not much cheaper. I ended up getting a set of 24 of them for 43 bucks. then I just picked up a few more along the way. There are other brands out there that are pretty good. Im not sure what kind though. Just dont get those 24 packs that cost 3 dollars lol. Try and stay away from those.

  • @MrCannibalMan Yea I know, I had a terrible time with those in grade school. They were just hard and would never spread lightly, just clump together and not blend very well. I just had to fork over 20 bucks for a good set of pencils, but they're amazing. Oil just happens to be more expensive eh?

  • @MrCannibalMan oh yeah lol. but they are lots and lots of fun.

  • @TylersArtShack I cant wait until I have the dough to try them out.

  • @MrCannibalMan If you look on google you might be able to find a forum or something about the ratings of different oil pastels. You might find something like mine but not as expensive.

  • @TylersArtShack I will.

  • I love your videos! I want to get into pastel drawings, and wanted to know what kind of paper you use? Thank you!
