Hey great job I noticed you no recess on the lid or base. I just made a pencil/pen holder using durian H/wood and I found by recessing the base and sides and some rounding of the corners by sanding you can't notice the joins . Once again good job

@AmateurWoodworker As you can see, I can build an honest to goodness bee box pretty quick, but this winter, I'm going to try to produce art work like yours. Mamma wants a cedar chest. This is going to take real control on my part, since I am used to slapping things together, as if I were in a race!
