  • This is soooo cute. (:

  • that is my friends routine music in the back round lol

  • @budgieluver1 Yeah I'm a cheerleader :)

  • that's how mine is :)

  • great job!

  • you shouldn't take a tiny hop before you go. I noticed this as you were doing your tucks. try not to hop before you go for your block.

  • it doesn't really matter if I hop or not. also you don't block in a standing tuck... thanks though

  • @AshleyakaFlipper well, andro669 prob thought you were a gymnast, where you're suppose to start with your feet together and without hopping because eventually you go up onto beam with it.

  • if you start out with your feet together, and chest out, It will make you go much higher.

  • that was really pretty good job

  • those look pretty good!

  • look at your legs when you start doing it, to far away one form the other! but is nice! keep it!

  • its amazing! good work!

  • a little advice here. when u squat and start to bring ur arms up, u start leaning back a little. Watch it yourself on the video. What u wanna do is try to jump UP, stall, then bring your legs around and land in relatively the same spot u started

  • nice job on the back tuck!!! how did you get the music inthe background i am trying to make one on windows movie maker now and i can't put any music in the background

  • i use windows movie maker and if you dont have any music saved to your computer than you cant do it. or you can go to youtube music library.

  • that was good keep up the good work and dont let any loser on here who cant tumble at all tear you down

  • great video!!!

  • Just a little tip.

when you land if you look up and keep your hands by your ears it will look a little better

but everything else was really good.

    Keep up the good work!

  • she might be a cheerleader, and i know cheerleaders dont do that

  • Cheerleaders don't do that

  • Sorry

  • dude, imma cheerleader..and yes they do.

  • K well sorry I thought only gymnast do that cause ny all star team dosen't cause my coach said it look kind wierd

  • yes they doo

  • we run this by missy eliot. btw GOOD JOB!

  • Nice!! Could you help me on my flips?!!

  • Tight profile!

(Hey, if I can re-teach myself a straight-leg press, drop to straight planche & knock out a push-up at 34 years old, you can still swing this thing. -G).

  • hey good job, but make sure that when you start your legs are together because it makes it look neater.

  • yeah that was a habit i had to break, when i started working them on beam i just forgot about doing it.

  • i put my hands behind my legs because that's just how i do it, and i don't jump anymore. but i didn't jump here either, i had to get off the ground somehow

  • can u do it with an overtuck? those generaly look better they have move of a style to them nah mean? i need to practice them more cuz i've been doin them 4 like a year and they are still hard

  • What's *an* over tuck?

  • umm its like when u grab the front of ya knees insted of the back in gymnastics they teach undertucks but since i taught my self i thought and overtuck looked better so i learned that but once u get either u can pretty much do it the other way but it might be scarier

  • oh okay. i guess it's just personal preference.

  • werd but when ever u get a chance try it the other way see whats more comfortable u might be surprised and when u get mad gud u cud prolly do it with out tuckin(not a lay out just with out grabin ya knees)

  • yea good job...they arent the easiest in things do to in the world...it took me a while to get mine...but now i make it almost all the time.

  • really good job.

i have troulbe getting the consistency of mine down. one day I'll do them all practice and the next day I won't. But they say thats normal till you get them perfected. It looks really good though!!Keep up the good work.

  • yeah i agree i don't do them so much anymore so my first few are bad but i can usually get it in the end. good luck with yours. thank you!

  • g00d jobb ;]

  • thank you!!

  • Very nice!!

  • thanks!

  • you have a lot of determination! congrats on getting it back! i know that it's not always an easy thing so good job.

  • thank you

  • Yay!!! They're so clean! Good job!

  • thanks lol

  • ya, but then go and do them on the grass and you'll bust everytime.

i first got my tuck barefoot, and then it took months to get it with my shoes on. the extra weight throws you off

  • hwy! well i can do a backhandspring and roundoff backhandspring and i was outside all day yesterday tryin to tuck and i cant get it!! idk why! i just like cant! my hands always hit the ground and i end up doin a handspring!! any tips?......btw i dont take gymnatics or cheerleadin or anything i just go outside and learn myself in the grass

  • jump highier and wear heavy stuff so if u wanna show people in the street it will be ezer

  • can someone tell me tha music plz?! Im german but I live till this year June i the US and did the tumbling with the cheerleaders...well they played this song many times. I asked who's this from..& teh ytold, but I forgot already! Please can someone tell me?

Btw A very nice back tuck! I'm still learning mine (and now even as a flyer!) Great job! 5*****

  • put your legs together- and put some shoes on. that just ends up hurting you in the long run

  • i'm a gymnast so we don't wear shoes.

  • doesnt that get tiring?

  • I got really tired when I first leaned but now I get tired a bit but not very much.

  • thanks lol

  • it's not tht hard once you get used to it. learning it takes forever lol.

  • I'm in love with Flipper :)

  • ha ha thanks

  • that ownz

  • thanks!

  • love ur songs i wish i could do a standing backflip lol i can only do backhandspring

  • thanks lol. yeah it took me a while to get my standing back tuck but once you get it it's easy. good luck!

  • ha ha i know but i was super excited lol

  • nice job! better then mine. why to you spred your legs?

  • thanks. i'm not sure why i used to do that, i don't do that anymore but i guess it was just a bad habit

  • aww! shit~ i've got myself hurt as i'm doing this..

  • great job on the back tucks i wish i could do something like that

  • nice editing, it pretty much rocked actually. and good job with those standing backtucks. better than pretty much all the chicks in my gymnastics class.

  • aww thanks!!

  • Hey stick it's music!!=D

  • wow, thats good. i just learned my standing back tuck. its alright, but i just sprained my ankle like 2 months ago from doing a roundoff bhs back tuck, so i lost it. but i have the same brace as you.

  • ha ha yeah now i have a really heavy duty brace, that sucks about your ankle! i hope you get your standing tuck back! good luck!

  • you throw yourself back a hell of alot.

    you rely on yr rotation.

loosk alright for a first timer though.

better than my first ones :P

  • thanks. yeah i'm much better at them now lol

  • thanks! yeah it's awesome to get.

  • start with your feet together. it gives you more height. well it did for me. good job

  • thanks, yeah i do now cause i'm training it on beam.

  • wow, i can do that too! but i tuck different, i grab my shins, but you grab the back of your knees. does that work better, or is it just an opinion?

  • awesome lol, i grab my calves, but no i don't think it matters which one, i've tried everything (grabbing my knees, nothing, shins...) nothing worked except this.

  • ya, so you do more of a pike than a tuck.

  • sorta, now i go so high that i have to pike at the end to not over rotate. lol.

  • lol =)

  • Good job! You're jumping/leaning and moving back too much though. Try to never look behind you; keep your eyes forward. Think straight up and spin, not rotate backwards. This should get you more height and help you to land more where you started! ^_^ all the best of luck!

  • thanks lol. these videos were taken so long ago, so thet're much better now, but i do know what you're saying so thank you! i'm gonna try to post a new tuck montage, just so everyone can see the improvement. thanks!

  • You do make it look easy! i can do those on a trampoline. ive seen some of ur other videos, and how do you make the flip twist so much? I can just do a half twist.

  • thanks lol. i still don't know how i do it! lol you just have to pull hard and don't open up. i still struggle with the full twist, so just keep working on it like do your half and everytime just pull a little harder and get like 3/4 there and then do a full good luck

  • thanks lol. i still don't know how i do it! lol you just have to pull hard and don't open up. i still struggle with the full twist, so just keep working on it like do your half and everytime just pull a little harder and get like 3/4 there and then do a full good luck

  • thanks! lol it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

  • Good job! What I think makes it much easier to land is if you make sure to set (jump up until you hit your peak, and then flip) when doing your back tuck. Good job on getting it! It is a real break-through trick! :-) :-)

  • thanks!

  • Great job!

  • thanks!

  • thanks!

  • Very Very good! Im impressed its only your third time. 5 Stars! Can you check out mine please? and comment.

  • thank you so much! i'll look at yours.

  • yeah! i never thought of that lol, i will when i get the chance.

  • yea so what gym do you guys go to i go to cheer eclipse

  • gg...

throw ur arms all the way up....

  • okay thanks! i do that now this video was taken so long ago it's cool to see my improvement! lol. but now i land them everytime and sometimes over rotate. but i'll make sure my arms are all the way up thanks!

  • Yo i did one and it really helped to look forward the whole time. Cause you can rotate faster or something.

It was on a tramp with no bounce though so im not fullt there yet. :)

  • Okay Thanks!

  • nice back tucks, im still working on mine. Any tips, like things that could mess you up at first?

  • thanks! well i haven't seen yours but just remember to jumpo as hard as you can, to set up as high as possible, then pull your calves and don't let go, the calves thing is what got me mine! just be agressive and don't hold back! good luck!

  • i pull on my shins [or however thats spelled] cuz at first when i pulled on my calves i didnt tuck like at all. it just depends on you, but i know that pulling my shins helps me rotate alot fast then i did when i pulled my calves

  • okay thanks, but pulling my calves seems to work, so i won't change it now, thanks for the advice

  • Oh I luv that music from Stick It!

  • lol yep! i love it too!

  • thank you!

  • Great flips Ashley :) James x

  • thanks!

  • Sweet tuck! Good form.

  • thank you!!

  • Nice!

  • thank you!

  • thanks

  • Nice work. Really jump straight up and extend before you tuck and tuck real tight. I guarantee if you do that properly and your legs will be straight on landing :) Keep it up!

  • thank you!!

  • No worries! Oh yea, and it looks to me like your knees naturally bend inwards. I have that problem and it's resulted in me having knee problems. If you train a lot and feel discomfort around your knee and patella area, definatly go see a doctor or physio!

  • thanks. actually they don't it's just when i'm doing my standing tuck. i've never had knee problens (knock on wood) lol but thanks fo rth eadvice

  • good job!

  • thanks!

  • hey way to go girl

  • THANKS!

  • thats so good , just tr not to buckle ur knees wen ur taking off and set a lil higher . then ull thave th ebest tucks in the world lol keep up the good work

  • thanks! do you mean like when i take off how i spread my feet apart and bring my knees together? is that what you meant by buckle? thanks fo rthe advice! they are getting a lot better i can do them in bulky cheer shoes on a cheer mat now! but i love doing them without shoes, much easier. lol thanks.

  • i know same here i cant wait for standing fulls almost there..

  • oh i want to do my standing full so bad on ground! i can do my half fine but i don't want to land short and screw up my ankles! they are bad enough already!

  • That's FLIPPER?!?! That is so awsome!!

  • yeah that's my nickname lol. I was the only one who could tumble during 7th grade cheer season, and the crowd would always yell "FLipper Flip!" because we had two AShleys. I love my nickname. lol thanks~

  • Plz make more videos they are great!!

    I subscribed to U!!!

  • thanks! i am! lol i'm working on a lot at least 5 different ones. do you have one you want to see first? or just one you would like to see?

  • ANYTHING more gymnastics PLZ

  • okay lol i will

  • I'm actually really impressed. You didn't jump at ALL, and yet you still have a pretty decent tuck. Just remember to set UP and then pull your hips through, and you can land it standing up.

  • thanks! yeah these are the first ones i've done so i'm still getting used to it. lol. i wish i read this before i went to open gym today lol. thanks for all your help!

  • I love all your little vids, you add such personality to them. Each one has a story which makes it cool to watch! Keep them coming, and a HUGE congrats on your Back tuck!! I could never do that!

  • thank you so much!

  • it's okay lol. thanks

  • thanks, i'm not a gymnast, i'm a cheerleader lol.

  • Good job! Im still tryin to stick mine!

  • thanks! well good luck. are you under rotating or over rotating?

  • What does that mean! LOL

  • lol like when you land do you have to step forward (under rotating) or backward (over rotating)? lol i'm trying to help you stick your standing tuck.

  • I go forward!

  • okay lol just hold your tuck a little longer and you should be able to stick it lol hope that helped!

  • I finally got my back tuck. i looked ahead longer! Do you feel more comfortable on the mat then on the grass? I do!

  • congrats! lol. i've never done mine on the grass only on a cheer floor (like 2 inches of foam) but yeah i definatley feel more comfortable on a mat.

  • Im not a cheerleader Im in Gymnastics! i love gymnastics. more apparatisis. Cheerleading is ok to me. It looks fun!

  • yeah cheerleading is okay, but gymnastics looks a lot more interewsting and fun, i would work out 7 hours a day just to do gymanstics, but we don't have enough money, and there's nowhere to go around here so cheerleading is the closest thing i have...

  • That sucks! your really missing out! its soooooo fun!

  • yeah i know, but it's never going to happen and cheerleading is a blast too.

  • so thats what u look like!

  • yeah lol. but this is after three hours of hard core tumbling, so i look horrible! lol.

  • totaly right i mean cheerleading is kool but gymnastics is completly awesome but cheerleading is fine....

  • Congratulations, you DID IT!

  • lol thank you so much that's exactly what my mom said.

  • yay yay ashley!

  • lol

  • really good, congrats ;)

  • thanks!

  • Awesome! We love your vids and you are a good tumbler too! With the power in those legs you might be able to do standing pikes one day! Keep on Flipping!

  • aww! thank you so much. A standing pike would be cool, i just started doing these again so i am still building the muscle i need. thank you so much!

  • haha, its cute, your so proud of yourself =] i'd be too

i have all sorts of other tumbling, but i'm just now working standing tu

  • thanks lol. good luck with yours lol it only took me like 5 years?? lol.

  • lol COOL I WISH i COULD DO THAT!!!

  • lol it's a lot of hard work

  • oh and thanks i forgot to say that lol.

  • lol funny ashley!!! i love it!!! Im going to do one of my back tuck and my sis one too!!! lol great idea!!

  • lol thanks. i want to see yours!
