@TheWon777, my fruends have b18b turbos, frankly they all have one thing in common, they all blew up, best affordable engines for turbo are the non vtec ones, best single cam is the d16a6, and best twin cam for turbo is the b20

Good start on the swap and though i am a honda fanatic i dont know why people are obsessed with b18's, the b16 is the best 1.6 around the h22 is a beast and the k20 is the more expensive newer beast

@Brendon00000 i remember spoon or honda saying the best thing you can do to a b16 is put a stroker kit on it to make it a b18 so u may as well just buy a b18 if you own neither.

Thanks. He couldn't afford a type r and he can just do a mild ls vtec later on and come close to type r numbers

ya u left out all the funstuff like taking off shift linkage, i didnt have a lift i just put a jack under motor then let it fall and pull motor from under car lol

lol yeah, they started doing all of it before I got there to record some stuff. Actually, I think we pulled the linakge out with the tranny but just unbolted it near the boot. The bitch pin is real easy to get out though with the c clamp method or using one of the honda ac bolts that come off the brackets

I have this civic with the original engine, lol 360k miles, but i want more power, which engine is easiest to swap into this civic?

well it was my friend's swap but all he needed was the complete ls with the harness, or you can re-do your civic wiring harness. I forgot how much he spent but will ask. The motors go for cheap along with the transmissions. You sometimes have to cut the shift linkage and re-weld it or buy a newer one from a b series
