I spent 28 years as a officer and up until the last 10 years never had to come close to shooting anyone. People are becoming more and move violent. If I did not have a taser, I would have shot many people. The people at the OWS movement are not all innocent as reported. There was a time you never had to remove your sidearm.

I like ya LB but just bending over and spreading them for the police and hope for mercy doesn't help. An unjust law will never be repealed if everyone just keeps complying to that law, so in some cases a little civil disobedience is the right thing to do.

In most of the cases where there is a shooting at a store over a black friday sale the stores are in or near neighborhoods where that is just how arguments are settled on a daily basis. The people just bring their culture into the store with them. You don't hear about that happening so much in nicer neighborhoods.

I participated in black friday for a few good deals, and the bestbuy I went to in central indiana, we were all waiting in line for our turn to go into the store, no one was being mean, we were all laughing and getting excited when the line started to move again. I got in found what I wanted and made my purchase went to my car, no problems, I did go straight home to drop the stuff off so it wouldn't give anyone ideas later. then went to the next store and so on

I've been discussing the same Black Friday nonsense with friends and family in an attempt to enlighten them about preparing for the future.

In general for confrontations with LEOs, I always stay respectful, but I do not freely hand over my rights. If comes to a search, I make it known "I do not consent to a search." If they are going to violate your rights, a altercation is not going to prevent it but encourage it. Check out the "FlexYourRights" channel on how to respectfully keep your rights.

Hi LBP. I went to my first black Friday sale EVER this year. Palmetto State Armory was having a sale on AR Lowers for $50.00! I went and got two of those puppies as well as some ammo they had on sale.

As you might expect, the line wasn't bad and the people who were there to take advantage of this and other deals PSA had were very friendly and orderly. I think it had a lot to do with the TYPE of people at this BF sale, if you get my drift. I wouldn't be caught dead at one of the big box stores.
