Instead of swimming like crazy to avoid the monsters, you can just keep shining while bubbles hit you and grow. Make a ring of the bubbles around you, and switch to swimming. You'll be safe. :D

@bobtheadventurer While that is true, and is the manner in which I finished the poem, I believe its more symbolic of the girl's desperate need, deep down to escape from whatever it is bringing her down. I love games like this that leave walking away with more than you came with.
